I'm a fan of McGregor but he had a really poor match.

Didn't have half the energy and intensity you'd expect him to show in that box-to-box role.

Had a poor game, but I still rate him. He has drive and goals in him

Not a chance would I have him over Bitton, Johansen, whether I like it or not (I do not) Brown is apparently undroppable, and Ajer comes with huge potential. I have him right on par with Henderson and Armstrong for the spot.

We can and should have a better quality midfielder playing for us. Capable of a good game from time to time but that's not good enough at Celtic.

Deserves his place in the team at the moment. Played a poor game. We'll see this season (hopefully) if he can cope at this level or not.

Really dramatic to write him off after that. But that's the nature of our support at times.

Yep, was quiet tonight but deserves more chances at the euro level to see if he can cut it here as gerry says.

Unusually missing tonight for a player who has served us well as can be in CL qualifiers!

Think he'll bounce back, was one off game but he's generally very consistent and good so one bad game doesn't change things but I think Brendan will still tinker with the midfielders for a bit.

I thought he was ok but certainly not sparkling. Rogic was much more effective when he came on

Agree also, he's been good for us last season and this so far, he just had an off night. He starts ahead of Armstrong and Johansen for me.

Aye exactly. Straight in to write the boy off and giving praise to Biton, who most wanted sold after the last game.

Yes McGregor didnt cut it tonight but he has shown a lot of quality under rodgers so far and thats why hes starting these games. Deserves more chances.

Our fans opinions very much only seem to go by your last performance and forget the rest.

His distribution was unusually poor, he is normally very tidy.

Still, I have no qualms over McGregor.

I thought he was decent, tried to play football and he cannot be slated for that, Armstrong was the weak-link in that midfield, Bitton takes his place next week with the ever improving Callum starting.

Until we get shot of cmg , armstrong , hendo etc we will never be a threat in europe again (even the europa ) imo , these players are simply nowhere good enough to make us respectable again !! Sadly theres umpteen others of the same standard or worse currently on our wage bill , unfortunately our managers hands are tied until he offloads them all !! Hopefully we might can get 1 or 2 in before the window closes or this is it for our euro campaign !!

Simply untrue, invest in our youth and we have a future. Idiotic writing a 20 year old off who has as much experience as Henderson and Mcgregor a guy who's constantly improving.

Not great today, but that's pretty rare from him.
