He is an intelligent footballer. He sees space and is always trying to give an option to the man with the ball. He can also finish when he gets a chance. Rarely gives the ball away cheaply. What's not to like. I would have him in the starting 11 every week.

find it strange after last week, that people are predicting line ups without him in it.

I wrote him and Rogic off last year and they've went on to be the best two players of the season after Griff and Tierney.

I don't know what McGregor has done to his first touch but it has went from the weak-point of his game to one of his main strengths.

His movement off the ball is fantastic, seems to find space to receive the ball in dangerous positions very easily.

Thought he played well again. I've been critical of him a good few times but he's been magic lately.

So much happier with him in the team than Johansen. Prime example was his neat footwork & intelligent setup for Lustig's goal & then Johansen in comparison doing * all in a similar situation. Can't be the only one that noticed that. So much more direct, intelligent & EFFECTIVE.

He's obviously not nearly on the same level but he reminds me of Iniesta the way he plays.

    He's a tidy player.

Offers a lot. Went quiet after about 60 odd mins but so did every other *.

Neil McCann was calling Shinnie a top player at half time, and then wee magic feet McGregor done him a kipper..

He does that and creates at least one a game. That's good enough for me. As quiet as he's been for ages as well..

Took a real shine to him this year. He's stepped up..

He was far from my favourite player during his first spell in the side, but he's been excellent when given the chance this season.

I really like him actually, he's evolved as a footballer.

Played far better in 1 of the 2 central positions than both Brown and Bitton have for months.

Noticed he got the armband too when Lustig went off.

    * me, a few good games and he's Iniesta.:bbpd:

He was decent today, great work for the third goal. Definitely a better option in the middle than Bitton and Brown, going by this season.

Its just the way he moves off the ball, he takes up similar types of positions to him when he's receiving the ball. Also goes by players in a similar way.

We just need a Xavi type now and we'll have the old Barca/Spain midfield, because Bitton is like Busquets too. Then we've Roberts who's like Messi. We're not actually that far off a CL winning side when you think about it.
