Totally agree, when Calmac is on fire we are brilliant, let the guy recover so he is there for the run in.

Although he hasn't been great this season I feel that the team is weakened by his absence so hopefully we see him starting against the diets

Brendan Rodgers has explained the decision to leave Callum McGregor out of Celtic's squad to face Hearts.

The captain is at Tynecastle this afternoon but won't play any part in the match after being left out of the squad. He also missed training through the week and his manager revealed to CelticTV that the midfielder may well miss a few weeks of action and could potentially be out until after the next international break.


McGregor has been a vital component of the Hoops squad for a number of seasons and will be a big miss.

Sadly he's picked up a knock which we'll see how long he's gonna be out. I don't think it'll be too long-term but he may miss between now and the international break. So we're awaiting to see the extent of that on Wednesday
