Hiding, not the only one. Midfield so * static and easy to mark.

And some of McGregor's stronger performances have been when Taylor has been inverting well. I agree I'd like to see Iwata holding.

His performance is one of the reasons I think BR has lost the dressing room. Looked like he couldn't be arsed. Same as the majority of the team.

Loses the ball so much just now. Whether that's down to the shape of them team or whatever, I don't know but it's happening more and more.

I’m gonna say it…..I just don’t think Cal is that great a player. Is he in the wrong position? Is he not working well under the manger? He just isn’t doing it for me, and to be captain makes it worse.

    Thought he was good today.
Haven't watched the interview above yet,but that quote they've lifted from it concerns me, just keep going and see where we come? Are we not aiming to win the league and Cup that we are still in? Probably taken out of context to cause panic and caught me hook, line and sinker.

He's the only captain in the team. And that's the issue, Hart aside, I don't see any other players helping him to cajole and fire players up. He's not been at his best but still the most important player in the side. Never hides and always looks to drive the team on.

I wouldn't worry, "We just keep going and we'll see what happens" is basically every CalMac interview ever, even when we were well clear under Ange.

He was back towards where he should be today, first-half especially.

With Iwata back I want him further forward with O'Reily

Thought he was back to close to his best today. Certainly a much better performance. Felt he benefited from the new system. Free’d him up to get involved in different areas of the pitch. I think we’ll see him flourish if we bring Iwata in to hold the midfield and release Cal forward

The ball he played for Palma, for the opener was pure class, especially on that surface..

    It was McStayesque

The variation on opinions on Yesterday's performances are mad. I thought Cal was good yesterday.

Excellent yesterday, a true leadership performance. You can see why his performances can sometimes be slightly off it, when you look at who he’s playing beside. O’Riely not kicked a ball for months, our wingers are in general, absolutely dire and he’s had so much change in the positions behind him it’s not real!!

Ran the show first half. Awesome ball for first goal.
When he plays well, team plays well.
I do think, right now, he is playing out of position, our best recent display was against Hibs when Iwata played and Cal was moved forward.
Also, his loss of pace is getting exposed now.

For the supposed leader of the squad, he does * all to drive us on beyond pointing..

Another shitebag performance in a season where if he was at a competent club.. he'd be dropped.

That bit when he hooked the ball into the air wildly when he had time to take it down and dictate the play was shocking. Was at a moment we needed to really calm the game down and take control too. He needed to be the guy to do that and he * shat it.
