    Even with the way football has evolved, there were guys we had 10-15 years ago had that physicality but could still play. We're crying out for a Kayal, Ledley, Wanyama, Samaras. O'Neills team was a brilliant example too - a blend of power mixed with quality. This squad is miles from that.

    I feel like we should try Oh on the left in the Samaras role, he holds it up well, nice touch, runs with it well and is a goal threat and good in the air.

    Thought he done well when he came on and at the weekend, puts in a lot of work-rate and running and has good composure and quality.

    Played on the left a lot before also.

    Aye I think we've lost a bit of focus on what it's gonna take foe us to be successful in Europe.

    We won't beat sides by being technically.better 9 times out of 10 so we need to mix it.

    It's not. He's been in every midfield that's been ran over the past few years.

    As a sitting midfielder he's not the answer in midfield. When was rhe last time you remember him having a good game in Europe?

    I'm not saying he needs bombed out the side but he can't be continually played in that role as we will get the same results and people will continue to ignore it because of who he is. It pains me to say it.

    I'm not the only one thinking this.

    When he had Brown sitting next to him doing the defensive work.

    We should of signed a defensive midfielder to partner him, we didn't, so make best of what we've got and stick Iwata in beside him to do that side of it.

    Also wouldn't be against switching him and oriley and playing him as a 10 again

    Only way it’s going to work in Europe with him is if we have someone holding next to him like Iwata or Kwon who will add more physicality.

    The midfield trio that started last night is fine for domestic games but just the same as last year we need a physical presence in there.
