He needs a boot up the *, can we get the old Calmac back please

 

Wasn't great today, but think as captain he needs to get a rocket up the players arses before anything else. When he has the ball I'm used to seeing lots of movement in front of him and options but there was very little today.

 

Playing with timbies on this season. At least he broke into a sprint near the end.
* pointing and shouting for people who to pass to and just giving the ball straight back to cbs when he got it.
Take some responsibility and turn and drive us forward and make something happen. This applies to whole midfield but especially him being captain.

 

He's been pish as well so far this season.
The manager is making a rip roaring * of it so I can't fully blame the captain.

I'd love to know what the * the team talk is from Rodgers.

If you were to watch our game today in isolation you would think Neil Lennon was back in the dugout.

I didn't want Rodgers back, I wanted Knutsen. But when Rodgers was appointed I thought fair enough, solid appointment.

Only 4 competitive games in, fair does. But what worries me is our squad, our transfers.

I looked at that bench today, absolutely * all on it. Our signings have been total projects, centre backs aside.

I think our arses could collapse next week against those *.

 

This. So true .he could be a far more better player if he just drove it forward .too scared incase he * it up

 

Hatate is our best midfielder... midfield looks bang average otherwise.

 

He just stands pointing what direction to pass. Take the * ball in, turn and advance it. Useless.

He’s been *, absolutely * since Rodgers has taken over.

Needs dropped. Albeit most of the team does.

 

One of these games this season he will try and drive forward or maybe even try a pass more than 5 yards.

 

I'm * of at Rodgers. But, given how little I expect of him and the team, I'd be delighted to the point of screaming in joy if he were to a) push McGregor up and deploy any recognized CDM next week's Sunday or b) rest McGregor completely. That would show the polished robot actually registers what's happening in the game.

 

We need a solid CDM, once we have tht I rekon we get prime CalMac back. I doubt we will get one though, Cal needs to be pushed forward

 

If we don’t get one then Calmac needs to be put back into the lynchpin building the attacks dictating the play. Because he’s neither at the moment.

A lot of our players are still automatically looking at where he’d always be the last two seasons and being confused when that options not there just now.

It looks like he’s playing part of a double pivot just now, but on his own.

 

Aye, he's been poor but the balance of the midfield looks all over the place.

 

Really starting to worry about him.

He either needs to pay further forward it he needs 2 guys with pace beside him.

 

He's gone to Peter Grant's pointing masterclass.

 

I'm not a big fan of McGregor like most of our fans. I don't see much difference from the start of this season than previous seasons, other than the team aren't playing well & losing or dropping points so its more noticeable to others that he isn't playing well.

I will stick up for him a bit as he is marked with 2 men when our CB's are coming out with the ball & the inverted wing backs helped with this a bit. We need a real CDM rather than shoehorning McGregor in to that position.

In my opinion McGregor's best time for us was under Rodgers when he played him further forward were he's at his best. Hopefully we get a CDM in & move McGregor further forward with either O'Riley or Hatate. I was hoping Iwata then Kwon might have been the answer but it doesn't look likely.
