He was fantastic at points today. Did not let them bully us. Was doing the job of 3 in the first half at times.

Every game that he plays in more and more I keep thinking we’re genuinely lucky he’s dedicated his career to us.

Because he is a level above anything in Scotland. His performance levels are * insane.

Anyone got the clip from the second half where he was battling two of them and came out on top. Loved that and then you seen him getting the fans going. What a captain he is.

Brilliant today!! Had some job on his hands without his mate along side him. If McGregor was out today as well I doubt we win…he’s that important.

I still think Hatate has a higher ceiling. However we would be lost without Cal. I thought he was a one man wrecking crew at times today. Would not be bowed by those orange *.

Ironically a lot of opponents see brown when they see him.

    Boom. Heidshot.

Hatate and Jota probably have a higher ceiling but the closest we have to him operating at that high level consistently is CCV

How quickly does raskin disappear from the gif. That hobbit couldn’t moonwalk fast enough.

See something with Calmac, he picks his wee moments like that there carefully, usually when it’s a wee lull in the crowd. He plays to the crowd brilliantly when he wants to. That’s probably learnt under Broony that

I think you’re doing Hatate a disservice there mate. Not sure how far back you are going but Hatate has been on it since late October. He’s as consistent as anyone else (except CCV, Guy is a machine)

I might actually have just agreed with you. Who knows? Not me hehe.

Couldn’t agree more. He started lifting the crowd in the second half. Next minute Kyogo is doing the same.

He’s a leader. The players trust him and are perfectly willing to go over the top for their comrade.

Aye maybe, Hatate’s still a man of moments and bursts for me. He’ll elevate a game and do something exceptional and he’ll work like *.

Calmac for me is just every single * thing he does is at such a high level it’s mad, he doesn’t let any sort of standards drop. Honestly I love when your at a game just watching him off the ball for a while. Guys a pler.

And by all accounts Hatate’s attention to detail with his training, he’ll be at that soon, and we’ll be very lucky if its here brcause he is an utter genius.

We have had this convo many times.

    Joe Ledley springs to mind.

Some players just do so much but it’s so unspectacular that it goes unnoticed.

That’s Cal. Honestly think he’s wasted further forward. He’s a 6 and that’s it. A quarterback if you like.

You need extra protection in defence, don’t move Cal, give him a manic 6 beside him

I think anytime we’ve played him consistently in any position * say, thats it, thats his best position.

I don’t think he has a best position. As long as the games infront of him, he’ll perform to they levels.

The 9 season that got cut short, him on 14 goals and on the run of his life, he was on course for 20 without penalties mate.

It’s just down to tactics by that point, in this system Calmac as a 6 is the one that pulls the strings and controls everything for us.
