    Considering our youth sides continually win their divisions it's depressing the lack of quality that comes out.

    Never appreciated how good McGeady was considering he came out the academy, technical ability is excellent.

    To come on as a substitute, even if it was in the first 10 minutes and then to be took off in the 2nd half really does speak volumes.

    He's absolutely mince imo, can see him going to a mid-table team in our league at best.

    McGregor was in the right place at the right time. Ronnie wanted to show that he loves "giving youth a chance", and McGregor scored a couple in August. He's still living off that, but I think our fans see past it now.

    Is he as good as McGowan, McGeouch, Lawson, Fotheringham, Jamie Smith, Rocco Quinn?

    Time to buy in January, the way we should have in the summer.

    Better than all the ones I highlighted there in my opinion, maybe with the exception of Smith who was quality at Aberdeen at one point, did he not score against Bayern?:smiley-laughing002:

    McGeouch is a better player, McGowan around the same level IMO. At least he has a bit of bite about him though, McGregor is like Forrest, wee shitebag.

    You have to ask yourself why a guy that we all seem to agree is around the same level as Paul McGowan, has had as many as nearly 30 appearances at Celtic in half of a season?

    His goals really did mask a player of pretty limited qualities back then eh?

    He has very little pace especially to play the wing, no real creativity therefore I wouldn't be in a hurry to play him through the middle, doesn't have any trickery so to speak, lacks lots of football awareness and just doesn't fulfil you with much hope.
