He's pish. Scored a few goals at the beginning of the season without playing particularly well and now the goals have dried up.

    Shouldn't be starting.

Wouldn't mind seeing him through the middle at some point. Until then I would like him dropped from the first 11 and give Tonev a wee run to see if it's worth keeping him past January.

I think he needs dropping for a few games to get hi, focussed as the last month he has been very average .

He was excellent at the start of the year but he hasn't been up to much lately. I'm sure he'll be back. No need to be loading pressure on him just yet :50:

he scored last weekend, and played well today , beating his man out wide and played a few killer balls. Even when he isn't doing outstanding things his all round play is impressive , passing and moving , finding space , retaining possession . Very good footballer , your opinion of him screams someone who doesn't know much technically about the game. A sort of teenagers way of judging footballers , the people who know their football will know Mcgregor is an important player for this team , there is a reason he has started every game this season when available.

I don't think much of him to be honest, I think he's only getting game because of how poor the team is rather than how good he is.

Wasn't his worst game by a long shot, beat his man one one one a few times like the one he floated in a lovely cross with his weaker right foot and Wakaso couldn't get any direction or power on the header ..

What was he doing when clean through on goal? Seemed to take an age to shoot and gave the keeper the advantage, was really poor..
Not great today but a bit better..

Played a great ball through for Scepovic when he got pulled down for the red card as well. You are right with the second point, I couldn't believe he didn't hit it earlier.

Is it because he runs like he's holding a handbag?

Gravesen used to run like he was carrying a carpet under each arm.

It's just McGregors left arm that sticks out :56:

I think it may be that he is a greedy wee sod.
Nothing wrong with being hungry for goals but in a few games he has played in he is so focused on goal he misses seeing other players in far better positions to score.
In those games we could have scored far more goals if he had passed to a team mate.
I know others do it but it seems, not so much as McGregor.

Something I noticed he wasn't doing yesterday, his passing in behind was excellent. Particularly to Scepovic.

Agree 100%. That was his big improvement from yesterday compared to previous weeks. Far more intelligence in his passing.
