I genuinely think his performance was approaching those levels, he can only play the team in front of him on any given night. It's true that I may be wrong; but historically he has tended to carry his domestic performances into Europe, mate.

 

The boy could find space in a single bed with Gemma Collins.

 

Ach well, maybe I'm setting the bar a bit high TBF; we can revisit the topic after Valencia and if I'm being OTT right now, we'll know after that and I'll admit it. Equally if he carries this form into that game...

The best player in the country and it’s not even close.

Levels above everyone else.

 

Not OTT for me. There’s levels of performances then there are just * good performances. Lubo’s was several levels above because of who we were playing, it doesn’t devalue watching McGregor’s performance today. He was * unreal and it’s one of the best performances I’ve seen from a Celtic player.

It’s not really a quantifiable thing for me though. I say Joe Ledley’s against Barcelona as one example, did he run that game? Did he * but he was clever as * and it was a great performance.

I can mind another one, Rogic against Dundee, he got took off at half time I’m sure but the 45 minutes it’s rare to see Somebody run riot just that much.

You play whoevers infront of you but that was a special performance from McGregor tonight and one that will stick long in my memory.

50 games is too much. Really no need for him to be playing as many if we can help it. Going to end up running him into the ground. Tierneys problems have probably been from the same thing

 

With the amount of injuries, games played, the amount of positions he can play and his fitness it doesn’t surprise me at all.

At times this year we really couldn’t afford not to have him on the pitch. Also, Scotland games are included in that as well.

 

Considering hes our heartbeat, we play at whatever pace he wants us to and he never makes a wasted run. Im not as concerned with him being fatigued

He controlled the tempo of the entire game tonight.. everything went through him.. its incredible how much him And Forrest have improved under Rodgers

 

Was incredible last night. Did all the simple things well. Just looked so composed on the ball. Always looked to be available for a pass and always looked to move it on.

The progression of this bhoy since bursting into the team a few years ago has been nothing short of astounding.

I think we can all agree where his best position is but you can stick him anywhere on the park and he'd give it his best shot and probably be the best man on the park too.
