As soon as I saw he was playing at LB, I knew the game was gonna suck. He's great in the holding midfield position, but he really needs to be in an advanced role.

 

Just seen that comment on the Twitter thing notorious put up that he was our best defender, midfielder and attacker today.

 

He is the man for the future. Play him in the middle, with the armband.

did well but he's wasted at LB, if Tierney was fit enough for the bench then he should have started. McGregor is the guy we should have in the middle running the show, we played our best football and had our best winning run when we let him run the show, we've gone back to the way we were since Brown came back and took that role away from him.

 

Still played his part pretty well I thought and seemed more up for it than anyone else in my book.....hard day at the office for him today.....should have been played in midfield as most on here would agree.....switch should have been made early on.

He’s the only one that instilled any calmness and precission in our play, should of been shifted into the middle after 15 mins, would of totally changed the game in there.

 

He was very good as per, however Utterly ridiculous we have our best midfielder at left back. * midfielders like Halliday fill in at full back, not class footballers like mcgregor.

You wouldn’t have caught guardiola throwing xavi in at right back when he orchastrated the Barca midfield.

 

Said it the other week, that central midfield spot should be his and build the team around him, he's first name on the teamsheet now, no * him about into different positions just because he's versatile and can cope.

Him in the middle instead of Brown or Ntcham and we're a better unit today, they're too slow together. What's the point of keeping Izzy as backup, or giving Hayes the odd run out if they're not going to get used when we need them?

 

Best Celtic player on the pitch today. In fact I’d go as far to say he was better than any of the Huns.

 

The kind of player you can build a squad around. Real lynchpin, not a mercurial talent that's quick make for the exit. Punting him out wide today was a major error.
