The kind of player you can play anywhere and tell him to do a job there and he wouldn't let you down.

Fantastic yet again tonight. He’s become one of the first names on the team sheet and consistently proved himself to be a real performer in the biggest games.

He set the tone and epitomised the whole team performance tonight.

Loving him in the deeper role. Think he relishes the responsibility too.

It's a tall order but if we can get hendry performing it would be good Mike Johnstone as well just needs some bulking up or loaned out look how it's helped Christie

The way McGregor has been playing in that role is actually good news for Brown, it means he doesn't need to get rushed back and can take the time to recuperate fully for a change.

10 year, hes only 25 :brendy:

I actually think he will keep maturing with age as well and be great until he's quite old as he's just class on the ball with the nice touch and intelligence the more he will play the more awareness and quicker his thinking in situations and reading of the game etc will get and he'll continue to grow in confidence. He will probably peak at about 30-32 when he'll still have decent legs and great experience. :notworthy

Hasn't looked back since BMG, improved stride by stride since. Slow start this season for him, but he's back to his reliable self.

Never going to be a Wanyama cdm, but with a bit more experience in the role, he can learn from the likes of Kante, the small player able to win tackles with timing and speed more than anything.

All four of them single handedly made the first goal happen. Christie won the free kick, McGregor took it quickly and passed to Forrest, who roasted their right back and squared it to Tierney who obviously fired it in.

Mental how Rodgers has made these guys European level footballers. Wasn’t even luck, we outplayed them.
