    CALLUM McGREGOR is set to win a Scotland call-up for Thursday’s must-win World Cup clash with Slovakia.

    The Hoops midfielder scored twice against Hibs in their Parkhead draw.

    And SunSport understands Gordon Strachan is now ready to invite the 24-year-old to join up with his squad today — after his Hoops team-mates Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong were ruled out.

    Now the Celtic star is posed to battle for a midfield slot with Hibs ace John McGinn, who also bagged a double.

    Wee Callum should be starting ahead of Rogic at the minute. Hes in good form and Tam is so far short of his standards this season a wee spell out of the team is needed.

    I think Rogic is just tired myself. He has had no off-season due to the Confederations Cup and he had a long season last year. This week he will head off to Malaysia and Australia for two huge games for his country, which won't help him a lot. I genuinely think he needs a few weeks off.

    I know, bot I reckon that's what he'll go with..

    I've see McArthur a couple of times in the flesh at Palace and thought he was excellent but was atrocious v Lithuania despite his goal..

    Don't mind Morrison but Fletcher is done..
