Gem of a player. Tidy in possession and has fantastic awareness of what's going on around him.

One player I enjoy watching off the ball. Always checking his blind sides, moving in pockets and shows for the ball all the time.

He is primarily a 10 so you'd expect his defensive side to be weaker but since BR has played him everywhere but in goal - he has became IMO our best all round player.

Id like to see him make a position his own and I think he has the ability and potential but with such a diverse squad it's tough although he can count on his own versatility to get game time.

I don't think he's primarily a 10. He's at his best when the games infront of him, not with his back to goal. That can be like tonight when the game is stretched in the 10 position or further back when he's starting.

    Useful in many positions but.

Agree, his best position is in centre-mid not the 10. In the 10 you need to be the one occupying players, where as McGregor's style is more to drift into spaces others in front create, he's also good at keeping possession moving and being creative from deeper.

I think him and Armstrong both play there best next to Brown with Rogic in front.

That poor Dundee defender had diarrhoea running down his leg when he saw Scotty coming full steam with the ball. And our Calum coming side by side. Great piece of play and McGregor spotted that move from halfway line.

Looking at the goals he’s scored over the past few months...

How could he no have burried that chance against that German Mob?!

    Still a great player though..

McGregor still has a bit of inconsistency, usually he'll put in a cracking performance get a start the next game and not take his chance. Think he would benifit hugely with a run in the team but trouble is, Rogic and Armstrong are on form and Ntcham is quality player that gives us something different in midfield.

It's some headache to have when choosing who to play, everyone can step up and you've still got Eboue to come back from injury and Benyu when he's settled in.

The most under rated footballer in Scotland. By a large distance as well.

Showed a good burst of pace for his goal, he always seems to score when he comes off the bench.
How the * he is no in the Scotland squad is beyond me.

I love mcgregor, he's playing his way back in to the first team like he always does. Just about every time he's played this season he has looked so dangerous.

Incredible when he came on, moved the ball so calmly. Really big headache between whether to play him or Rogic, they both offer us so much.
