I've always supported my national team and even always stuck up for Strachan due to what he achieved here but I'm at the end of my tether.

When a manager's stubbornness becomes detrimental to his team selections then it's time to go. Between this and the SFA's (lack of) reaction to the oldco's big tax case, the national team can get themselves to *. All I care about is Brown, KT, Armstrong, Griff and Forrest avoiding injury for the next week.

International football is an inconvenience more than anything.

 

It has really annoyed me. I always back Scotland 100% and seeing more Celtic players involved and Griff eventually getting his chance to shine has been great. If McGregor was involved too it could only benefit the Scotland team, and I would love to see him capped. Thoroughly deserving of a call up and one of my favourite Celtic players these days!!

Finding it hard to back the team with Strachan at the helm though, guy is a first class *. Come kick off I will be right behind the XI on the pitch but it will be through gritted teeth until he goes.

 

Ano man has bonkers hope he gets the bullet after we fail to qualify again give the job to somcunt with a clue evan that failure moyse would be an improvment compaired to that * fs he just picks the guys he likes McGregor been arguably Scotland's best player over the last 4 or 5 months here hoping Malta pump us and strachen gets the bullet

 

Strachan has always been a bit of a * when it comes to things like this. He probably wanted to call McGregor up but didn't want to look like he was listening to the fans.

It will probably cost him his job.

 

Who would you like to see get the job after Strachan?
Think Strachan is past it meself,i think Scotland have to look to something completely after Strachan maybe someone from Europe with different ideas.

 

He did the same Celtic in his last year, dropped McGeady, Balde, Agathe....played Telfer, Maloney etc

 

Me id get us to a tournament quicker than half these nuggets Scotland end up with and I'm just an arm chair champ man bawbag lol no but seriously od like us to try and temped sir Alex to take it with someone doing most of the physical work and let him be the brain we can all dream

At the same time, im unsure about a foreign manager but could be the shake up that we need. Not a clue myself

Aye have a manager and head coach worked wonders with Iceland one doing the tactics one doing the coaching bring Paul Lambert in to coach and be his prodigy evan for two years that would truly be a dream team for Scotland IMO don't know u stachen is still in charge the sfa must be feart of his patter Lambert could do the hard work of going to games and compile notes in the pool of players have fergie for man management and tactics sorted world cup semi finals at least *

I guess the SFA dont want an outsider telling them some home truths.
We were like that for years and when we got Charlton in everything changed.
His attitude and approach got the fans on board,alrite the style of play was crap but we won plenty of games and even when we got beat the players would still always fight till the end and the fans loved it.

 

Balde was basically finished in MON's last year.

 

Astounding that he's still not included in the squad, don't see what Strachan has to lose by not picking him or playing him. Strachan will probably patch the Scotland job at the end of the campaign, so whats the big issue with including McGregor.

Not party to how McGregor will feel about the current situation. I presume being a professional he will want to play International football and that he's done more than enough to warrant that experience. Every right to feel aggrieved over the current situation.

 

Darren Fletcher now pulled out of the Scotland squad today, an absolute farce this bhoy hasn't been included .

We'll need to just go with 6 Celts starting this match instead of 7 .

 

Barry Bannan out now and still no Callum, what a * joke . He could score a hatrick against PSG and he'd still not be included. Looks like a next campaign or new manager scenario.
