To be fair mate, Naka was the exception rather than the rule when it comes to Strachan :giggle1:

If Kenny McLean gets on the park against England Strachan should hand in his resignation the following day.

He is *. In fact, he's that * I think Aberdeen should be doing better than him.

Shocking that he's not made the squad. Absolutely shocking.

Agree with this. Can argue all day over whether he should be in the starting line-up or not. However, to not even make the squad is baffling.

I like Strachan, but this is a glaring error of his judgement.

If he can show us a better functioning midfield, out of the players at his disposal, just now than Broony, Armstrong and McGregor, I'll be amazed.

Broony, James Morrison and Barry Bannan sounds * amazin:99: nae wunner I dont support Scotland.

I don't like Strachan, despite what Minty says, and Strachan has made glaring errors at every club he has managed.
So much so, it might not be errors, more stubborness and prejudices of all kinds and sorts, like height for example.I think Strachan has a hang up about height, because he is a wee short * himself.
I think McGregor and McLean both deserve to be in the Scotland squad.

Shocking decision. The trio of Armstrong, broony and mcgregor has been the heartbeat of an invincible, record breaking, double-going-on-treble winning team. He's in the best form of his career, a tidy player with goals and assists in his locker. Scotland are hardly spoiled for players like that. To overlook him and put that banger Naismith in as well as Mclean is beyond a joke.

How Naismith gets in the squad is mental, was a wee workhorse and decent player at his best but he's been terrible for about 2 years now. Was always * on the ball and incapable of controlling it or passing it now he can't run either, completely finished but still polluting the Scotland squad.

I'll admit i didn't think he was cut out for playing in the first team week in week out but hes been great.

The thing I like about McGregor is even If he's having a * game his work rate never drops and he just keeps running and running.

Also why the * Isn't he in the Scotland squad? I would have him over Bannan and McClean anyday and possibly a few others.

It's like Strachan has thought to himself, 'I've picked too many Celtic players already, can't have another one in there.' If the team was picked on form which it should be, and not on who's been in the squad over the last few years McGregor would 100% be in there.

Going on form McGregor should be in there well before Forrest, makes you wonder how much homework Strachan has been doing.

Strachan has always had this "I'll not be told what to do attitude", a real stubborn streak. He did exactly the same with Griffiths when Scotland were crying out for a goalscorer.

By the time Strachan left Celtic, I was fond of his management. He seemed to be able to get players to play above themselves as a collective unit. That's why I thought he'd be a good fit for Scotland. However, his tenure as Scotland boss has put me right off him.

Deserves a bump on this day. More than played his part. One ropey moment in second half but he has been a big part of the invincibles and made a great challenge in the second half.

Well done Calmac. Youre part of a treble winning, invincible Celtic team, you earned it and you deserve it.

Fair play to him today. You could see big time how uncomfortable he was today but he stuck at it and worked hard and got his rewards.

He has been excellent for months now
