    Just talking about Delph and combative midfielders and realised I left the wee man out. Haven't mentioned it but he showed something I've been wanting to see from him at Pittodrie on Friday.....

    Was regularly going in for 50/50's and showed a bit more meat that we haven't been seeing to go with his play on the ball..

    I liked that. Another Brendan factor that's taken a wee bit longer, but another along with Armstrong who is first in to everything now..

    Thought you couldn't teach that.......until Brendan came along..

    I thought he was outstanding again. With Rogic quite not back to his best yet, I think McGregor needs to start at Hampden

    He got that into Forrest almost immediately. I never thought somebody else could put that into you either. Genius.

    Another player that Brendan has worked his magic on, a month or so back Brendan gave him some great praise, he deserved it and hearing that from the manager just gave him even more confidence in his own ability, brilliant.

    * me we'll go into this cup final with our strongest 11, with Dembele, Rogic, Forrest and Sviatchenko on the bench. Crazy.

    I must admit, I dismissed him as a guy who isn't good enough for Celtic but he's reallly proved me wrong. Terrific attitude and effort. Just shows Brendan's ability to influence and improve people.

    I'm sorry I have to disagree, I think it's Ronny who deserves the praise for McGregror's return from the cold and his amazing ability. Since last season even when we were all mentally down he showed great glimpses of his philosophy, to get forward as soon as possible and make things happen. Attacking players love him, he's great at link up play and the one two is his specialty. He's set up some positions for other players to score and doesn't get the credit he is due sometimes because he's so subtle in his play. I think it's his subtlety that sets him apart from normal players, he's almost humble with his moves and movement and when he scores goals it's all about the placement rather than the style.

    I still think he's a squad player and it's true he's playing even better under Brendan but it definitely was Ronny who seen it and gave him the chance to prove it. If he was a consistent player he'd be near enough world class and that's no getting carried away. Think of his move after Lustig's rabona, he made it look so simple. His goal against Hearts, that wasn't so much such a brilliant take and finish, it was the amount of yards he made up to get into the box, what a counter attack that was.

    Yet he's always remained cool, never got the hump when folk have questioned him, and I think that's cause he's a pure Tim, he just loves playing for us and that's why he's happy on the bench. You won't find many players of that ability on the bench around the world. They'll all have left for first team places.

    Anyway, I post the same thing after every good game he has I should just make a template :56: No wonder though, some folk are pure negative about him when it's so obvious he's an excellent player, makes you think twice about your own judgment. Guess that's the same with everyone though, there's some players I don't rate as highly as others. But they're all from different teams than Celtic :party22:

    I was actually annoyed at his first 2 right foot misses first half and thinking he has to do better with them, then bang, right foot worldy in off the bar..

    * do I know..

    slowly becoming one of our better players, gives nothing away in the middle of the park when its tight, one thing i would say though is in the final third when he should pass he shoots, and when he shoots he passes. in my top 3 for player of the year.
