I agree with most of the original post, the only players I don't agree with on the list are Hartley & Naylor.
IMO a midfield of McGeady, Brown, Hartley, Robson & Nakamura for away games in Europe would be pretty hard to beat, I would rather have Hartley or Robson playing ahead of Donati or Sno.
As for Naylor, I'd keep him as a squad player, left side of defence has been a problem area for us, but I'd rather see O'Dea playing there at the mo.
As for the rest, I'd crawl over broken glass to Parkhead to show Caldwell the exit door, Bobo's time is up at CP, Pressley was bought as cover, but if he can't get a game ahead of Caldwell, he should move on.
Wilson is too injury prone, but until Hinkel has a bit more SPL experience, or Doumbe comes back the same player he was, I'd maybe keep him as a squad player as he can fill in at left back as well.
Tommy G and Donati should be moved on, neither has the discipline to play for the Hoops, Riordan has to leave, it's obvious that him & Strachan don't get on.
JVOH I've heard wants a move back to Holland, if that's the case then maybe Samaras would be a good replacement, I know the jury is still out on him, as any game he's started he's been pretty poor, but I still feel he's adjusting to the SPL and he's already got a few goals.
As for the fans that want Strachan out, I personally feel that he is taking the club in the right direction, both on and off the park, and for those that criticise his style of play, they seem to have a short memory, as MON's teams were so one dimensional but few complained about him.
Give Strachan time, the club is moving forward in the right direction, some fans on here seem to think the league's over already, there's still 3 Old Firm games to be played, 2 at CP, so it's still very much in our hands.

Douglas, Hedman, Sylla, Gray, Guppy, Laursen, Fernandez, Camera, Juninho - flops

Valgaeren, Balde, Pearson - average at best

Thompson, Hartson, Sutton, Lennon - good signings but expensive

    Agathe - Brilliant signing

Well if the Gravesen/carsley is a myth then a certain wee Brazillian fullback who played for Madrid is a liar then.

Doumbe is an outstanding player and we were only starting to see the real deal when he got injured.

Du Wei should never have got 45 mins FFS it was Strachans job to realise he was * before giving him a game not after:56:

So its ok to buy pish as long as we get 3 mill for them? The new money minded fan has spoken:54:

Both managers have made good and bad moves in the transfer market and although so far WGS's team has been more successful there's not much between them.

Just a wee comparison between the 2, don't go mad.:icon_mrgreen:

Your opinions proving Strachan is a good manager, judge of player and tactician are so weak that you have to try (unsuccesfully) to bring MON into the equasion:54:
Strachan IS THE CURRENT manager ffs and MONS record proves * all in either a positive or negative vein towards Strachans abilities or rather lack of them.
MON aint the issue or the thread subject.

    Im no mad btw

Btw! I didnt put the poll on this thread. Polls on these types of message boards or forums are about as accurate as Strachans opinion on Gary Caldwell as a player.
    They can be easily menipulated.:50:

So you don't rate MON either then as a manager?

Not being a glory hunter in awe of silver i put much more emphasis on the way we win games and trophies rather than the winning itself.
I,m old fashioned in my outlook but the enjoyment of winning the last two titles was severly diluted by the quality of opposition we faced and the manner in which we played football for me.

I predicted Strachan would toil badly if the Huns were to put even an organised team out every week never mind a good one. And up to now i see nothing to change my opinion.:50:

    Put it this way!
If i was given the choice to relive a certain famous 5-4 win over Partizan Belgrade or the 2nd leg win over Artmedia against the wins over Man Utd and Milan i'd relive the 1st two.

Did you make you're prediction last year or the year before? The 1st season's Rangers team also made the last 16 of the CL and WGS slaughtered them. I admit
Le Guen was a poor manager and that season wasn't competitive enough although
you can only beat what's in front of you.
You must have been gutted under all our previous managers appart from Tommy Burns.

I made my prediction from the end of Strachans 1st season. However ive never rated him as a manager/coach or even TV pundit to be honest.
I still mentain he,s carried more luck than Sean Sean the leprachaurn since becoming our manager.
Unfortunately for him though i get the feeling his lucks running out.

    Tommy Burns now? Jeeze why?:87:

He didn't have much in the way of credentials but he certainly does now. How's that?
