For me Davie Moyes would be ideal, and is better qualified to take us forward.

Not for any other reason than he is not good enough when spending our money.

We the fans pay his wages and we excpect him to put a quality team out on the park.To me 85% of the current squad would not upset me if they were no longer our players.He has had plenty of chances and considerable money to get it right and sadly he has failed.

I did not trust him the last window and I see no reason to change my thinking to give him another crack in the summer.

If he manages to win this league it will be a miracle.I realy hope he finds this miracle wich will see us celebrating 3 in a row.However the memory of how we have played thus far will somewhat tarnish our achievement, as hand on heart can anybody say that they have enjoyed our season in terms of watching quality players and fine performances.

Even if we find away to win the league I would find it very dificult to trust WGS with another cent going into the transfer market.

does any1 actually remember that any time MoN had a challenge for the SPL we lost. Everytime we won it Rangers wer pish, now Rangers are pish again and WGS is getting pelters for doing what? Winning?

 

MON lost 1 league on goal diference and 1 league by a point.We also had great enjoyment and a fantastic time following Celtic on those two campaigns.

I think Davie Moyes is a great manager and the way things are going will relish the chance of playing CL football with Everton next season, with a lot more spending money than what we could offer.

 

I'm trying to remember all the enjoyment in MON's final season where he was too scared to play Juninho and there was no Moravcik or Larsson to watch, which reminds me he walked into the job with those 2 who I rate the best ever Celtic players in my lifetime. That same Rangers team got battered by WGS.

 

I voted 'No'.The thing is,I would only want him sacked if we lost the league or if David Moyes declared an intrest in the job in the summer.Replacing Strachan with Mowbray or McGee would be pointless IMO.

 

Merobhoy his last season in charge their was a lot of problems hehad to contend with both on and off the park.

However with all the aggro in his private life he still managed to put a quality side on the park who competed well in all competitions.Loosing the league on the last day with such a high points total was a terrible experience but the overall campaign was exciting.Also we lifted the Scottish Cup on the last day of the season wich gave MON the send of he deserved.

Also to sugest his success was just down to two players is a little simplistic do you not think.

maybe another thread would be needed on this but i allways think that when strachan comes on tv before or after a game i just cant be arsed with his drivel ,whereas when martin came on everybody shutted up and listened , they guy was a verbal genius , when the camera's rolled ,he was immense

I have to say, lookin past the obvious bullshit, Martin O'neill was a great ambasader for the club, as were most previous managers.
Don't read too much into that statement though, take it as read.

you should watch celtic during the 90s and get a reality check on how far we've come from then and compare WGS to other managers
