How is it possible to be in the last 16 of CL, yet bottom of the Bundesliga.

This is the worst I've seen them play all season. Against 10 men. Usually there's at least pressure. And chances.

They look like they don't give a *.

I keep thinking it's only a matter of time that they'll turn it around, but the performances are not getting any better.

As much as i love Klopp i think he has to stand down! Him staying in the job might be the reason they go down this year!

Their downfall reminds me of Hamburg's they where a stick on for top 5 most years, they had one poor season and look at the state of them now. I hope the same doesnt happen to Dortmund.

Watching Dortmund games recently reminds me of the games you get in Football Manager. You have all the ball, create loads of chances and yer best striker misses stupid opportunities. Then the other team with the one chance they have score!!!

I will say after the sending off, not once did anybody get to the by-line and deliver. Every ball into the box was delivered before the 18 yard box. Making it easier for Ausburg to defend. The lack of width and not moving the ball quick enough contributed as well. Look totally bereft of ideas despite the amount of creative players in the team. Players like Sahin,Gundogan and Mikhytaryan were making some terrible decisions with the ball.

Immobile looks out of place in the team, you know when get an understanding and the play is fluid. With Immobile the play and connection just isn't there at present.

If they get relegated they must be by far the best team to ever get relegated.

If they were even just 8th in the League the now youd be thinking "*" but bottom? doesnt even seem real or possible.

Klopp should be sacked. The very notion that he is unsackable damages the club. Pressure helps you succeed and he is under none.

Augsburg beat them to go fourth. :smiley-laughing002: I don't know that much about German football but maybe the gap between them and the next 10 or teams isn't that great.

Looking at the table, the gap between 4th and bottom is only 17 points. Up until the last 2 games or so that could've been as little as 13 or 14 points. With the team they have and how compressed the league is I always thought they would go on a 5 match winning run and fly back up the table, but it's looking increasing unlikely.

Going next Friday. Might give it a miss :56:

In all seriousness though, I'm looking forward to it. Because it can't possibly get any worse.
