I can't see Bullard commanding 75k/week. That's a figure the rags have plucked from thin air. As for Campbell he can * off, moneygrabbing nutjob.

 

I think by the tone of the quotes on Sky Sports website we can assume Bullard was definitely taking the mickey. For Adam Pearson to speak in the way he did says a lot about the sort of nonsense he was demanding.

 

Modern footballers are only here at celtic park for the money, 75k a week is laughable to be honest look at bullard and campbell anyway? they arnt special they only fit in a postion. Were all getting excited becuase hes from the EL.

If Jimmy Boulard would rather play with Hull (* Hull!) in the English championship then it really is his loss. At the age of 31 Boulard had the chance to come up here and play infront of 60,000 fans, european football maybe even champions league, cup finals, going for the Leauge title and old firm derbies. I know hes getting more money by staying at Hull but he was hardly going to go skint playing for Celtic. I honestly believe he must be off his head to turn down the chance to play for Celtic at his stage of his career.
