I'm glad he is staying as I feel we are a far better team with him on the park as the engine he has to help our midfield is second to none. Always puts in a great shift and is very under-rated for what he does for the team as a whole by the fans.

    BROOOOOOOOOONY!

no now its kayal, I am all for a hardman who goes in on tackles but we should not have our hardman out on the rightwing, and he should at least be able to pass and create chances when needed, brown is a crap player who brings us down

Brown is not a near passing sort of player. His strength other than the defensice and harrasing stuff is his mobility and ability to twist and wriggle and run with the ball into space. That is actually a fairly rare asset in a MF. You dont want all your MF to be methodical ball-retention guys. You need someone more fluid and mobile like Broony to stop things being too square and predictable

In my opinion in europe when you play againts teams like braga, you need to offer real talent and not just get into thier head.

I can see your point about the third cm but if we decide to play 4-4-2 with just one winger it makes the defence agints us alot easier.
The problem with Brown he isnt a real cm and a not real rm,if you want to put him in the team then give him the posetion behind Kayal and Ledley and add a new player to the right side 4-5-1 formation.
In the defensive midfield he can fight as much as he like.:50:

except he is not that good at moving into spaces as you say, and when he does get forward, he will lose the ball or give it away

There is no biased or bitterness whatsoever in my opinion, but so far in this open signing window, this has been the worst news for me, Brown staying!

    stupid decision
obviously he doesn't estimate himself as a player by rejecting the chance to join a good club from the strong championship but this is his choice if he wants to let himself keep on roting in the spl he can do it up to his retirment from the football
it's always pity to see the good players waste their golden football years
good club but week championship and neither reform nor anything else help the scottish federaton to prevent the scottish football from roting unfortunately

I'm I reading this right? You are saying that Brown should have went to Newcastle instead of staying at Celtic as he is wasting his 'Golden years' in a rotting league.

The SPL is by no means perfect but Celtic can offer a lot of things that Mid table EPL teams cannot such as trophies, European games and a fan base with passion like no other. So I for one am happy that a player of ours is loyal enough to turn down the prospect of more money and playing in the 'best' league in the world to instead win trophies for a club that they obviously love.

Think the SPL is his level tbh, don't see him ever playing for a better club than us.

So you're slagging our captain for showing commitment to the club and staying at Celtic to try and win more trophies?

The whole world does not revolve around the EPL. Given that you spend so much time on this forum I'd have thought that penny would have dropped in your head by now. Obviously not.

    I smell a troll.

Why are you on this forum? Winning the league for Celtic is certainly not 'easy and boring' for us. Newcastle are a team below Celtic's level in all respects bar the money they can earn in engurland.

Dynamo what is the point in constantly slagging out league? we know it's not the best ffs you don't need to say this in every thread you post in. If you think it's a boring league then don't bother coming on this forum and constantly saying it as you'll just * people off.

Also every week you have a different football team as your signature, e.g you're sheffield wednesday through and through, you're a birmingham fan, aston villa fan, dynamo fan, barcelona fan, chelsea fan, etc etc, i could go on and on about the amount of different teams you've "supported" over the past year on this website. So why don't you go on one of their forums and talk about their league if you think ours is so *?

No point in saying this on here time and time again as nobody can be arsed listening to it...
