I like Broony, I think he has found his position wide right of midfield. Can be the most frustrating player at times, as he is clearly very talented. At times seems to switch off and play the odd stray pass. Often this is when we are on top. At his best though he is a snarling, tackling pest on the park. And we dont really have anyone else in the side like him. Kayal perhaps.

I dont agree with him being captain, and I think if we got an offer of £6m + we would be nuts to turn it down, but as it is, I am more than happy to have him with us in the trenches.

dont give me that crap mate, the games your bragging about are 20 of them when we are playing no * hamilton, st mirren kilmarnock and the likes 3 and four times a season, the botom line is we are second again and for £5 million he aint worth it, sell ,but to be honest there was never a bid made for the numpty.

We also beat the huns 2-0 without him.

Seems winning and losing is down to more than one player in the team.

the game your talking about, * we where 3 down inside 18 min.
yer stats are about brown he has been first pick ever week, i dont think there has been another player played the same amount of games as the numpty, over the period, through injury, and team selection, thats Lennon's
choice of pals, and for all his huffing and :31: puffing, playing more games his
2-3 goals, and still we lie second, then there are the others on here saying Scot Brown ain't meant to score goals, we have just got kayal in
now ever * is saying its his job to score, anyones but Browns:54:

Doing my best to understand your post.

we were not 3 down after 18minutes, we were 1-0 up at halftime....we were bullied in the middle of the park.

Scoring is not the most important part of a midfielders job, we scored plenty of goals last seaosn that was not our problem... brown was not our problem... complacency and inexperience was our problem, brown is an important player for us, whether you are happy about that or not.

I think that some people just hate broony :87:. He just seems to provoke that kind of reaction :87: I think that he's been maturing into the captain role and now that he's had a small taste of success I think that he wants more :50:It sometimes seems like he's become the new whipping bhoy :54:

See people on here calling our Captain a 'numpty' there a disgrace, insulting our captain.

The likes of you can * off out of the Celtic family. You are not needed.

Brown has been here how long, and to me mate seeing his style of play A
heavy touch, stop then turn back, and then, back pass to Dan who has had to come up the park to help a supposedly A driving midfielder with dig out, come on mate, start watching, whats going on and why the game by passes Brown,

I have been watching, all season! from the stand..... and i don't recall big dan having to come up the park to help?.... brown played right midfield for a good part of the season, and was perfect there, with Kayal and Ledley in the middle..

He is an important player, the club captain, and has been a good player this season.

thing is-he does polarise opinion to the point celtic fans are slagging each other off on a forum.imagine if we were discussing him in a boozer-be carnage.why is this?there has to be something lacking.no celtic fan i know dislikes kayal, emilio, hooper or commons-reason being they are all very good players, browns known for "dig" and "drive" not skill-traits i would associate down the years with players that huns would sign

Yes because Stan Petrov, Neil Lennon, Roy Keane, Peter Grant are all very 'Hunnish' players.
