    Having read countless threads about our captain on this forum, one thing is abundantly clear..............Scott Brown is a player who polarises opinion amongst Celtic fans. Apart from Samaras, probably more than any other.

    Personally I am a signed up fan of Broony. I like his attitude on the park and I think he's a better footballer than his detractors give him credit for. I am also glad to see him maturing and growing into the role of Celtic captain. I hope he gets his new contract and stays at Celtic for years to come.

    Name another top team that play 2 centre-mids and 2 wingers :bbpd:

    Nobody does its suicidal. The huns dont, Man Utd dont, Inter, AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Dortmund etc nobody plays with just 2 centre-mids, 2 strikers plus 2 wingers.

    Sorry for potential double post, well mayby it can be dangerous ,and mayby I am wrong about the 4-4-2 formation but my main point is I want a constant treat from both wings, so mayby we should change to 4-5-1 and buy a decent rw.

    fair enough sometimes the guys passes go astray but most of the time hes spot on. For me he has been the key figure in lennys team. But fans will love or hate him. For me am a big fan. Long may he stay and be captain...

    If I remember rightly the support were similarly divided when Lenny was captain. The truth of the matter is that we don't always see how important that type of player is......not everyone gets to be lauded and gifted but everyone has his role in the team. Sometimes people expect too much and at others they just don't seem to believe enough.

    if Brown stays, we will not win the league.we have just handicapped our self for another year. getting used to second spot now. how many trophy has Brown
    lifted for us again over the years. take yer time and count them all, wish he would
