Hamstring so not really sure. Hopefully took him off before any real damage was done

Good game to see what the Ange style is gonna get in domestic competitive football. The opposition parking and the bus and kicking the * out of our players

Cannot believe the difference in McGregor from last year...movement, passing, wee touches and moving the ball about beautifully. He's been absolutely everywhere. Great to see.

I'm yet to see any of this high press, high intensity football that Ange is supposedly famous for.

To me it just looks like the same old fannying about on the edge of the oppositions penalty box unable to make the final ball.

Eddy will be off and Griff may never play for us again. What happens if Ajeti get injured? We need strikers pronto. Im not convinced about Ajeti.

A lot of good things on show, tempo and work rate is good, but we're trying to be too intricate in the final 3rd.

We are desperate for proper fullbacks.

High press off the ball, players are quicker to close them down when we lose it for sure but we do need a better end product on the ball

Seriously? At least 2 of our goals in pre season have come from the high press.

Pretty much as bad as it could be for a pre season.

3 injuries to what I'd like to think are key players, a couple more that looked somewhat knocked at one point or another. Lacking that curing edge, not making enough chances from the possession

    Dirty Bristol *

Positive side though, controlling ball well, Urgohide looking much better than his first run out

Thought that was an exciting 45 minutes personally, there’s a clear style of play at least which means it’s instantly better than the * we watched last season.

Johnstone can’t be relied on whatsoever, same story over and over again with him.

I'm a bit disappointed in that as well. The press isn't that much more aggressive than last year and not created a chance yet against the kind of packed defence we'll be facing all season. Early days though.
