As I posted above, I don't see how he cost us the league, even that year. Just a bizarre comment to make, I think.

Nah its not going to happen. Mogga must have had discussions regarding priorities and what to do with limited funds with Lawell and between them decided that Skippy, Robson, Caldwell and Fox should go. They are all better than what we have (bar Keano) and I am almost certain they would be in Lennys team if they were still there. I think the combination of a manager who doesnt understand the charachter side of the game plus a guy who puts the balance sheet before success was a disaster and we are a far worse team than we were this time last year (that is not for debate-just compare the tables). Skippy going will be regretted in the summer. We will struggle to find a replacement on our budget

i will sign one to keep him at boro, this really annoys me that mcdonald, mcmanus, robson, and caldwell are seen as players we should have kept. Did you watch the end of last season and the start of this season they were * FULLSTOP. As for mcdonald one good season, one average season and one * season. Surly as Celtic supporters we deserve better than * mcDonald. People have let there standards slip in who is worthy of a celtic strip. Mcdonald is not good enought and got a easy ride from the media because he was leaking storys all the time. KEEP HIM WHERE HE IS!!

Gutted when he left, still our top scorer and a guy that always came to the fore when big games came around (Huns, Man U, Milan, Moscow etc).

This petition is pointless though mate, if only it were that simple.

Top scorer first season, 19 last season whilst having 2 hopeless * beside him that couldn't hit the g spot on a 20 stone * for months and still our top scorer this season.

No way wouldnt touch him with a barge pole. He had one good season, got lazy and just moaned and was offside 90% of the time. And thats before i even get onto his relationship with the media the way he treats the club leaking stories and unsettling the dressing room.

didnt really want to see him go but a good offer came along so it was worth it.hopefully celtic will use the money to go hunting for a quality out and out striker in the summer !

Although it was a big blow to lose Skippy and Robson, I think we need to move on and look to the future and I don't think petitions will help in regard to player signings.:31:

we cost ourselves the league in 2005. getting beat against hibs 3-1 at home a few weeks earlier was a far more destructive result as the team lost their way after that. Even the day against motherwell we were guilty of missing numerous sitters, particularly craig bellamy.
