you talk about buying but you need to remember is that we have Fojut coming in aswell so that would mean we have Rogne, Mulgrew, Wilson and Fojut given that i take for granted Loovens and Maj are gone by next season.

and just to add a bit of controversy to the debate, under what can only be summed up as utter shyteness of highest order while TM was in charge Josh Thompson was one who saved us on more then one occasion and arguably given his experience at the time done well for us and i would rather see him back before O'Dea

If both Rogne and Mulgrew got found out in the Champions League then so will the rest of the team.O'Dea has found his level down there the same as Hoiveld has and i hope they both do well.

O'Dea had his chances, time to look for better rather than taking a step back.

I get what you mean mate, that when maj goes well need a new cb. But with odea saying he dosent want to come back then for me I don't want him here. Would of rather sold him last year than lose him for nothing. But that's something celtic seem to do quite often loan players out untill there contracts run down. Anyway good luck to him

have u seen a handsome hun
been at the club longer than some of the furniture.....has been overlooked now by 3 celtic managers in strachan, mowbray and now Neil. he was a very promising youngster when he broke into the team.....but countless times caught out of position and exposed as a liability......enoughs enough....punt him.

Haven't seem him play recently but he would have to have improved quite a lot for Lenny to want him back. Remember he is going to have to convince him to come as he's out of contract and I would imagine that would mean Lenny telling him he's in his plans for first team football. Like I say if he has improved and is looking the part great, go for it. But I'm sceptical and don't think he's got a future here.

He's not good enough. Simples. Not doing great at Leeds, not bad, but not great.

O`dea probably just needed that wee spell outside the goldfish bowl in glasgow, a wee bit of experience under his belt down at leeds, i think would set him up nicely for a wee return to celtic.Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Never been very impressed with him. He's not bad but I wouldn't want him first choice at CB.

i always liked him and it is nice to see he is maturing into a decent player

to all the people saying he is * for us, he was in a teenager lol alot of defenders take time to mature, just look at mulgrew :50:

Sometimes a good player just doesn't work out and won't fit in the team. I thought he had potential, and maybe played alongside better defenders, in a better team he would do well. But the chance has gone and good luck to him at Leeds (if he's still there next season).
