Bobo was a risk even when he was playing well, its time to go.

As for odea he coped brillianty in CL games and scored a few goals , you cannot say he cannot ply becoz he is young he needs a chance

 

Naka can play games were he isnt involve for 89mins then score wher as mick and arthur are always in the mix, thus showing naka cannot be captain as he aint involved enuf

 

Sure I agree that Naka can be quiet in games and yes he wouldt be ideal for the captaincy, I just think it may improve his perfornances and may help us to attract better players to the club as he has the biggest profile of anyone at the throughout the world. However I think it would be better to bring a leader into the club as we just lost a big one in Lennon.

 

bobo will be back to his peak after about 25 games i reckon, shame we cant wait that long! im hoping for JFK to continue the miracle recovery and be our no1 CB this season. i meant praying!!

 

Bobo is the best defender we hav got ,good presense , wins ball in the air all day plus he is fairly quick and he has always stood up well 2 some of the best attackers in european football well.

 

Carew , Owen, Morientas to name just a few. But balde has made mistakes it happens to the best of them even Henke was * at pens.

Hope balde is fit would make a great partner for JFK

Balde is probably costing the same as - JFK, odea, caldwell and Mick put together... think about it that way and make your mind up...

 

Don't forget McManus and JFK had a partnership with each other at underage level from when they were 15.That is very important because they could just slot in and know their partners strengths and weaknesses without adjustment time

 

JFK has eveything. We just need to play him to sharpen him up. Bobo is flawed even when fit. Persevere with a Mick-JFK 1st choice partnership for the first couple of months with Gary as back-up.

nope i can not say he can't play, because i agree he coped exelently, but so did david marshall when flung in aginst barca, and for 6 months following that then he was liable for letting in one goal a game at least. it would be great if o'dea could play 40 games a season the way he played in the champions leauge my point is 5 good games and he should be given a place as one of two main centerbacks? thats ALOT of pressure to put on an unexperienced 20year old, to perform week in week out with no safty net.
were as imo i'd be more ideal for him to be bled in more, the odd game here and there and as cover for one more season to see how he copes.
