A part of his post match interview on BBC Scotland sportsound.

“Sometimes after you win the treble, it can happen. You put so much into last season then you come into this season, there's a great expectation, opponents will always up their game against you, but it's my job to find the solutions.”

Ange is clearly a one man team. Kennedy and Strachan are * lemmings, surely they should have a word? We shouldn't be this * already. They're just as passive as the manager.

Yeah well basing it off the season so far you’re right. Ofcourse it’s still early and he can turn it around but he does deserve backlash for the substandard performances. I’ll still back him for now obviously but serious changes need to be made this isn’t good enough coming off the back of a treble with a strong squad (initially) and guaranteed CL money. We need changes quick and he needs to wake up n realise it too

Hate to say it but that reminded me of the performances we were watching under Lennon before he finally got sacked.

The worry is that I don't even think it's a squad problem, it's BR's tactics. Everything is to slow and supposedly calculated. That's playing right into the hands of teams who play a low block.
We need to get bodies up the pitch, and batter them, until we get a break through. With Rodgers, he's happy just recycling the ball Infront of them and hoping something opens up.

We're *. Am actually * it for the CL now.

Serious lack of tactics. The last couple of games I actually don’t know what the tactics or gameplay is which is mental. Seems to be pass to a winger and hope they lead us to a goal. * shocking. Surely he can’t be that tactically inept or that stubborn. I * hope not anyway

Agree, was obvious Ange was a 1 man team though he played the exact same way for about 100+ games so there was nothing to it.

But Kennedy and Strachan working with him surely know exactly how it worked, I do and im only a fan that watched it. They should surely be able to tell the players exactly what to do and get it working again.

Hate to say but the football has been terrible. Yes we’ve got injuries but ffs we should beat Killie and ST J with what we have. Early days but worrying

Something stinks behind the scenes. Rodgers coming out this week about the squad being weaker and “hopefully” get a few players in. He’s clearly not happy and like his last time here he came out with similar quotes. Maybe he's been duped by Desmond and Lawwell and what he was promised beforehand has now been taken off the table.

I just think he looks a shadow of the manager we had in his first spell.

I know people will say that the football turned * during that time too, but there was an aura about him and his Celtic side. Even after the 69-game unbeaten run had gone, his Celtic sides still felt all-conquering and that's because they were. Even when the football was declining, the results would still be there. Nobody could keep us out for 90 minutes and if they ever did it was a total fluke.

But to me, his demeanour and energy seems so different this time. He came across as a top-class football operator between 2016 and 2019. Now he comes across as if he's lost his mojo, and that he doesn't really want to be here. It's all felt half-arsed from him, and as if he could actually be giving a lot more than he actually is so far.

Absolutely nothing to base his commitment to the cause on outside of poor performances and worryingly ineffective signings. But it's just a weird vibe I get from him this time around.

This isn't the same guy we had a few years ago.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
I’m already hoping we can be shot if him without having to pay up his contract.

The players are not buying in to what he is wanting to do. Ange has moved up a level because he’s very good,

Rodgers has moved back to spl because he’s not at that level. He’s regressed.

I was worried when he returned. Now? I’m terrified of what this season will turn in to.

The lack of movement in the team is the major worry.. movement creates chances or at least uncertainty in the opposition. When kyogo played under Ange he might have been quiet in games but he was also so switched on you just knew he'd find something..right now he looks like a guy say FFS stop passing sideways and get the ball down the channels to allow me to run. We need serious money spent this week on guys who can walk into the starting lineup for Ibrox.

I honestly dont know what the * is going on, when he got i said no way he comes back without serious money etc but none of the signings appear to be his, we seen what happened when players forced upon him like shved.

Its the tactics though, or clear lack of them, ive seen players remonstrating and shouting at team mates to move, ball goes left to right, right to left, slow, ponderous, no incision, no * clue.

Beaten by kilmarnock, drew with one of the worst spfl teams ive ever seen today who lost both games prior, as said by someone theres been no new manager bounce, there doesnt seem to be any passion, drive, fire, we are * flatlining and im worried.

It does now seem that we were the only job he could get.
So just pay up his contract and tell him to * off, and stay * off this time.

There were far better options than Rodgers who was damaged goods. Knutsen was my first pick but even Maresca interested me more than going down the lazy but expensive route like we did. He's 5 wins from 5 at Leicester.

The fact that Rodgers steered Leicester into relegation & Ange is turning what was a lacklustre Spurs into contenders tells the full story. Ange is a proper manager & Rodgers is a public relations expert.
