Hopefully everyone can now see why he was so desperate to keep Taylor. His movement into midfield, causing any team to break their formation was absolutely 100% key to us winning so many games like today.

 

Think if Forest want him as their next manager that he will jump at it, clearly doesn't want to be here anymore.

 

Don't see the point Rogers carrying on as the board won't give him * all to spend in January since he will be leaving anyway so if there is a decent replacement available in the coming weeks then the board should back the new manager in January as we can't carry on like this and is there another international break that's when to pull the plug and find a replacement.

 

When you lose Kyogo, Kuhn, O'Riley, Idah and Jota(to long term injury) then you lose a lot of goals, is it something like 80 over the course of a season. Add in Maeda injury and here we are. Rodgers has the final say on players but recruitment has been abysmal.

Punts, over paying because we faffed about, marquee signings nowhere near their price tag, post transfer window free transfers. We all knew what would happen after the summer window. It's why there is so much anger. Yet the dipshits running the club didn't see it coming. Complacency and arrogance has brought us here.

 

I've said it before and keep saying it. The section of our support who up until very recently were supporting the board and our business are as much to blame as anyone else and need chased also.

Stated on here numerous times Rodgers ain't getting a tune out these current crop of players. Something needs to change ASAP - squad still should be strong enough to beat the teams in Scotland. Forget about Europe this year - we are not competing at that level with the current setup. Manager needs to get this sorted or he can go - this is not me supporting the board -

 

I've no idea ha. Just highlighting how much of an issue they are.

so you didn't watch us the second half of last season when we struggled WITH Taylor in the team? He couls have bring something else in yes, but he wouldn't have changed much. He was one player and I cannot remember one game where he changed it single-handedly?

And a 3m manager should be able to adapt his tactics if a player leaves and the ones staying play differently.

 

I dont think we will properly know how bad recruitment has been until somebody else gets a go managing these players.

In the last two season we have brought in Engles, Trusty, Idah, Nygren, Iheanacho, Tounetki, Balikwisha. You can legislate for a couple of these guys not working out. Im skeptical they all dreadful players though incapable of providing the neccessary quality to be able to routinely beat SPL teams.

Unfortunately I think the system is a big part of the problem.

 

Thing is as we currently are we are NOT an attractive prospect for new managers.

Lose 20mil+ in players to wait till deadline day to maybe bring players in. Also have random Japanese players bought for you. We are very * and expectations are massive. Not many will be attracted to that.

 

Arguably he has a better player now playing that position. A better passer and a better tackler for sure.
Might be a crazy idea but can our "elite coach" not coach Tierney to move inside the park a bit more and take up some of those similar positions? He has all the attributes to play the role and might even work in his favour as he doesn't look capable of playing as a traditional full back.

Canna be that difficult. Ange had that * donkey Ralston doing it.
