Here's the thing. Irrespective of the window, he is underperforming with our squad. People will want him gone and the board will be only too happy to oblige after another couple of performances like that.

But they will replace him with worse. We'll get a bounce but in no way will it be a new dawn for us. They will get a company yes-man or someone unknown and completely beholden to them. They won't make the same mistake twice - their mistake being appointing a manager with any standards or expectations whatsoever.

We all know he got shafted but his lack of flexibility. Lack of dropping favourites. Lack of anything now and making wee points is a disgrace..

It's alright folks, remember, absolutely none of this is his fault according to some people, the absolutely atrocious football, the bizarre team selections is ALL on the board.

It's also not like we got really late and lucky goals against St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Motherwell either!

Had more than two weeks to find a team and formation that didn't have to include Yang, yet here we are, been flat all season, he should walk

I’m back in Australia and watched my 5 year old nephew play yesterday. The team he was against were mostly girls, including one who had to be escorted around the pitch holding her dad’s hand. That team lost about 10-0 but still looked more coherent and threatening than we do under Brendan atm.

 

We all know the window was * horrific and everyone in the board needs chased.

But Rodgers is supposed to be a professional. He’s clearly spat the dummy out and chucked it.

Yamada, Simpson-Pusey and Inamura not getting a look in. Osmand playing for the B team.

Who heard his pre match interview? The tone and energy of a man who clearly doesn't give a * anymore.

In before the "who can blame him" mob.

 

People moaned the board never acted early enough with lennon. Hope they've learned.

 

Oh, I blame him. But I blame everyone at the club for letting it get like this.

 

Desmond, the board or whoever should sit down with Rodgers after this and see is actually interested in staying beyond this season. Because hes setting the team up like a guy who couldnt be arsed changing anything when its clear we need to. I suspect he isnt interested in extending his contract which is fair enough. But if thats the case it may be worth getting in contact with Postecoglu and seeing if hes interested in signing a precontract to take over next season and get that boxed off.

The manager and squad already look largely checked out this season so I dont think the performances can genuinely get too much worse. Having the clarity around next season may actually inject some energy into the team.

 

Hope he's sacked in the morning. Sick of this play style. Get lawell down the showers n see who's having a shower and if they can somewhat coach
