Theres just been way too many of the games that have something riding on them that we cant deliver in now.

We had a nice 3/4 month spell under him but its been going stale for quite some time and unfortunately hes done very little to change things up in terms the parts of the club that he can control.

I was nervous going into this season given how last season ended and it feels like this team is starting to unravel. Every player regressing.

If we were in a competitive league - it would be laid bare I think. But we can chug away in the SPL beating teams with 10% our resources full of jobber players and still win week in week out. Then when the crunch comes and we need to step up its totally abject.

    Yawn.

    * football the vast majority of his time here, even when we’re winning. I’ll be glad to see the back of him.

The flip side of that is they all played a big part in last season at one stage or another. We haven't even stood still this summer we've regressed majorly and that comes from the boardroom down. If the board dont trust the manager with money then he should have been sacked at the end of last season

Pointless. Because they realistically can’t do anything about the board, they’ll greet about the manager and start crying for Ange, who provided one of our most embarrassing champions league campaigns of all time.

Bringing on Idah was the last straw.

We’ve hardly kicked a ball since Munich in February. Yes the transfer window has been a disgrace but the level of performance has been a concern for months now.

He won’t walk after the guarantees of seeing out his 3 year contract.

If he was actually backed, it could still be a fine season. Finish off with a treble and have a real crack at the Europa League.

But the squad as it’s constructed is miles off that, and the players we’re supposedly signing don’t scream game-changers.

It’s insane that we’ve gone from our best UCL performance in years, pushing Bayern all the way to this, crashing out to some lowly random Kazakh team. Talk about a club shooting itself in the foot.

Rodgers should be dipping into his pockets to pay back all the fans that went for their full trips.

The thing is, Rodgers is a fancy, expensive manager, and with the cash in the bank we have, there's this air of thinking we are a good side. Nope. We are a bang average side doing an act of making people think we're good. The issue is that this act reinforces the arrogance of Rodgers and the fans, so there's no impetus to adapt to opposition. We'd be better off with a less fancy managerial name who actually bothers to prepare for games because he knows his team isn't stellar. This is a con, by the board, Rodgers, even the fans.

Appreciate him coming back in difficult circumstances and loved the football at times last season. That said, I'm done with it and we need a change desperately. He's winding me up no end, playing styles stale, his transfer record is and always has been abysmal.

It won't happen, but I'd be all for him leaving and bringing a fresh, young manager tomorrow.

Here btw, bringing on Idah instead of Yamada is another thing he needs panned for.

A big lug who has been utter * the entire season and pre season and he brings him on.

Not Yamada who is obviously quick, can run in behind or Kenny who is quick and scored at the weekend, but a useless * who does nothing when he starts.

Not saying we win that if Yamada or Kenny starts, but it would be a big difference.

He takes some of the blame for our performances generally, but nowhere near all of it.

How can you get the team motivated given the circumstances? The board have gutted it. Those players would get embarassed in the CL. We know it, Rodgers knows it, they know it. They felt it during the Ajax game, you saw the penny drop. We're miles off it. Their confidence is in the gutter.

You can't remain positive and up for a fight when you're in a state of managed decline. How can the players have confidence in the manager or what he says when the board don't back him enough to invest, or even to offer him a contract? How can you stand there and command respect when it's clear the board don't rate you?

I'm not defending the * - he needs to find a way to get more out of them. That's what a top manager is paid to do. But he's a * shadow of himself and so is the squad. And the reason for that is the board and how they're running the club. They're what's taken Rodgers and the squad from the team that held Bayern 6 months ago to the team that couldn't score against some * Kazakstani club no *'s ever heard of. Point your rage that way.
