Not sure that kind of abuse is deserved, sorry Brendan I just don't think you're up to it

 

I hate that excuse, he came here knowing the players who were here. many of the early signings I'm sure he could have blocked saying they weren't useful.

Around 99% of Celtic fans were calling him that just 3 years ago......Dont worry though....Since we seem to easily forgive people....Lenny will be back in at some point with all our backing also.

 

It's a lose-lose situation this. For example, Lennon continued Rodgers' system when he replaced him a few year ago, and got absolutely slaughtered for it. Similar for Kennedy when he stood in for Lennon when it went * up.

BR's approach is struggling at the minute, but the smart man acknowledges it will clearly take time if it's to work, as opposed to throwing in the towel 3 games into the season.

 

Yes, and it got old then as well.

Since then, he's decided to come back and try and make amends, the very least people could do is not call our manager a "rat" ffs.

Today was *, and we need to rapidly improve over the next few weeks, but people resorting to calling him * like Rat and Snake is bizarre and hun-like.

He's not a like for like replacement for Ange. Our useless board should have scouted someone that would have played the same style but they didn't.

Aye, for 2 years the whole style of play was get it to by line for cut backs and Kyogo tap ins.
Now he's on the half way line and there's no * in the box.

Really difficult to see any tactical plan at the moment but it does scarily look very similar to his final season here.

 

He's the current manager of our club, I'll repeat, calling him a Snake or a rat is Hun-like behaviour.

Both yourself and @HatsmyBhoy need to get a grip.

 

Obviously he's still implementing his own ideas and we're still to bring some signings in....but I thought we'd only tweak things more than change it as much as he has so soon..

 

I'm no his biggest fan, I'll go as far as saying I don't even like him....but what's the point in abusing the guy when he's back and our manager?

The smart man looks for positives and hopes to see a footballing identity, a style of play, players improving etc.

We saw it under the previous manager even though we lost 3 out of his first 6 games. Check the archives, most of us were optimistic despite the shaky start. I'm sure the Tottenham fans are seeing it already as well.

Where is any of that this time around?
Rodgers has just taken over a treble winning squad who were ridiculously consistent for 2 years. Why have we regressed at such a rapid rate? Losing Jota and Starfelt doesn't justify the steep drop off in style of play or our cluelessness all over the pitch.

I don't buy these excuses about a new manager and it taking time to gel etc. I'd understand if he took over Lennon or Deila's teams but * * he inherited a group of mentality monsters and proven champions.

 

We lost our first 3 away games domestically under Ange and got papped out the CL. We were a late Jota goal at Pittodrie away from people calling for his head

Today was *, and the style of play hasn't been great, but we're 3 games in.

If the style of play is the exact same in mid-October, then I'll gladly berate Rodgers and the club.

Until then, get the proper players for Rodgers system and use today as a wake-up call for the rest of the season.
