Nobody can press the huns really, they don't care if we press them or dont, they will pass it about 10 or 20 times to slow the game and get a touch if we dont but if we press them it just leads them to going long quicker.

For me we shouldn't press them as it's pointless and it works against us.

What they do to us, is what we should do to them, basically mark them but not their defensive players, their attacking players. They never tried to play through us with passing so us always trying to press them is woeful tactics I think. We instead should man mark their front 4 players and let them have the ball, when they kick it long they wouldn't get on a ball.

Too many games where his teams dont turn up.
Seems to struggle to get his side motivated vs them.
Less talking off the park, more talking on it.

Felt after we equalised that we just had to settle it again a wee bit.

They had a counter they * up with dessers and a chance with Barron too.

They've shown in Europe they're a decent counter attacking side.

Think this sums it up well.

Warning signs. We've had a few of them this year. We need to address how we approach these games.

What an utter load of tripe.

There's a reason why Daizen has lived rent free in their heads for the last few years.

People are overreacting because they started the game with totally unrealistic expectations.

Firstly, the Huns are poor at breaking down a low block, because most of them are mediocre footballers; but they're good at the physical side of the game and they've shown in Europe and against us that they're quite competent at setting up against teams with better footballers than them.

Realistically, that's now 4 of the last 6 games that could have gone either way (and of the two where one team won convincingly, one was for us and one for them). Today was just a continuation of the exact same pattern: they were the better team in the first half and we were the better team in the second and, in the end, it could have gone either way.

You didn't have to be super knowledgeable about football to predict a tight game (even I predicted it); you just had to not be blinded by hatred of the Huns. Frankly, Young Boys were tough for the exact same reason.

Secondly, not only is McGregor a key player for us, but also the injury was late, so it will have totally disrupted whatever tactical plan Rodgers had to beat their press and left us no time to practice a new one. We shouldn't underestimate the effect of that.

Finally, it means nothing, we are still chasing a treble and they will still finish the season without a trophy. Everyone needs to calm down.

If Rodgers didn't have a plan for McGregor being out, then he needs every bit of criticism heading his way.

As for that part in bold, ANY Celtic fan who comes out with this pish needs a jab to the throat.

If we rely on mcgregor that much then we are in trouble moving forward tbh.

The manager and practically every one of our players need to have right good look at themselves. Once again they lacked the fight needed for these games and once again our manager didn't have a plan b. We lost yet another goal from a cross and could have lost a couple more to be honest and we completely lost the midfield in that first half. We have to accept that we are not miles ahead of them in these games and that they do have a couple of decent players in their team. Yes, we will probably win a treble but there's definitely a lot of work needs done in preparation for future games against them.

Actually thought Raskin was the smallest * on the pitch that scored from a header, until I seen him standing beside Rat boy Ridvan.

Criminal he was allowed the space to score.

Is not just that he was missing, mate. We'll have analyzed the way Rangers press and we'll have spent the week drilling how we were going to break it. If McGregor had been injured a few days earlier, I'm sure we'd have dealt with it; but the injury coming so late really hurts us in that respect.

3 in a row without a win over 90 minutes.
3 goals conceded in all 3 of those games.

The man who couldn't lose this Derby now can't win it, * sort it, 3 absolute * performances in a row against them now when every * else can seem to beat them.

We've been 3-2 up on the 88th minute twice in the last 14 months and the huns pulled up their big boy pants and immediately equalised.
Today that was reversed and our team looked beaten as soon as that 3rd went in, the mentality * stunk today

McGregor hasn't exactly bossed it against them the last few games, not sure he makes a massive difference today honestly.

I'm sure he had a plan, mate. You can plan for every eventuality; but you can't give every contingency plan the time and drilling players need to carry it out quickly and fluently.

As for the second thing, I don't think we'll ever agree there. I genuinely don't hate them, so I don't really care if they have bragging rights for a few weeks. I care that we will finish the season with either a double or treble and they will finish it with nothing. Let them celebrate a meaningless win like they just won the CL. It shows their mentality.

Rodgers may be a good coach but he never has a plan B and he looked very ordinary today. Yet again he was second best against the scum, if a team get in our face with the high press game then we look very ordinary.
His star certainly slipped big time today.

Regardless of fan sentiment, it's clearly a thing for the players. The last 2 games Rangers look like a team with a point to prove. Celtic look like a team with the league tied up. I think Rodgers is one of those guys that can't hide when he has a real fire in his belly and when he doesn't and it doesn't really feel like he does at the moment.

It's not just a derby thing either. We've started very slow in a few matches this year, playing at preseason friendly pace with other teams start at 100%. The only difference is that we've managed to get away with it against other SPFL teams who miss their chances and we don't get away with it against Rangers.

I'd be amazed if we won at Ibrox after we've tied up the league for the same reason. That isn't an excuse, just an acknowledgement of what we are watching.
