If someone else references us being 13 clear as an excuse for the window I swear to * *....

He's fuming as he rightly should be. Didn't expect him to throw anyone under the bus, but I think he will be behind the scenes.

But I'm not having the "we'll learn from it" patter. You can't pass off failing to sign a striker that you knew you needed for over 6 months as some sort of little mistake. It's sheer * laziness and incompetence on a scale that should see heads roll.

We have an insane amount of money for a Scottish Premiership team that can honestly only just be sitting there doing the square root of * all at this point.

"We knew what we needed to improve the squad unfortunately it just didn't happen for us"

That in a nutshell is the issue. People can do all the mental gymnastics they want about it doesn't matter because Bayern will beat us or we approached a million players but nobody would sign it's just all absolute noise. He laid it out nice and simple we knew what was needed and we fell short.

He is part of the recruitment process so is culpable to an extent. The recruitment team at the club are an embarrassment and should be held accountable in no uncertain terms. A dereliction of duty no doubt about it. No point in blaming Kyogo’ s desire to leave months ago on not being able to sign a replacement. A total shambles and yet another embarrassment from the clowns running our club.
Now trying to make out that Kenny has all these wonderful qualities when he knows fine well that’s not the case. Polishing a * springs to mind.

It must be incredibly frustrating for him. I hope he stays and being optimistic he may feel that despite the low ceiling we have due to the board, the grass isn't always greener. He clearly loves the club and enjoys being here and we are still dominating domestically. I can see why that's more appealing than being Ange at Spurs for example. If he sticks around there's a real chance he could do 10 and be a genuine legend. If he leaves to mid table EPL then statistically he's likely to be sacked before the end of his contract.

I guess my point is, while he must be a bit fed up at our board, there are still genuine positives that hopefully means he stays in any case.

What time's the presser where he goes mental at the board?

All correct… although I’m sure the SFA Refs and VAR won’t make the Scottish cup a formality.. not for us anyway…

.. but we seem to be stuck in the ‘just enough’ philosophy..

We have ‘enough’ to win the league…

We have ‘enough’ to win a double or treble…

We have ‘enough’ to progress (a bit) in Europe …

    So why spend more?

It shows lack of ambition to get better and better and doesn’t sit well when supporters know the amount of cash coming in.

There’s still a biscuit tin.. it’s just massive, solid gold and studded with diamonds.

    Wit?

So don't question anything? I've literally said in previous posts we'll win the league, and probably the Scottish Cup. If we do, that will be in spite of the board and their failure to back the manager properly.

Squad evolution is an actual thing. Aren't we supposed to target being better after every window? For the umpteenth time with this board, the answer to that is an overwhelming no.

The Scottish Cup is in the balance for me. If we get Rangers outside of Parkhead then I cant say Id be hugely optimistic based on the last two games against them and how defensively frail we are with our approach.

Im not ‘anti-board’. Sack the board shouts/banners etc make me cringe… you can’t sack a board.

… it’s more that I’m just used to being underwhelmed…

A busy window always comes as a surprise as it’s generally out with the usual.

But as said.. the general vibe I get is an attitude of doing the bare minimum to be successful within our own bubble. … and in terms of trophy’s and income.. that IS all that’s needed and exactly WHY the money men take that route..

.. but from a supporter pov.. it’s always going to be unsatisfactory.

That is a mental response to what he's saying. He wants to sign more players so he's not a loyal supporter?

He’s, quite rightly, livid. Anyone who is passing that window off as just one of those things is a complete mug and the sort of fan the board * love. Happy clappers.
