Fans were singing KTs name because of who he is and what he done....Yeah Taylor is sometimes balls....But bringing in a player like KT and having Taylor would be great.

 

Pretty belligerent stuff from him….

Clearly felt a wee bit of stress over last few days…

I think this outburst reflects his own vanity and stubbornness rather than any great moral stance or principles.

Taylor is * in a lot of fans eyes…. its not disrespect to want better…

.. disrespect is * off in the middle of the night to the first EPL club that bats it’s eyelids at you.

Brendan Rodgers was really pleased to watch Celtic bounce back with a routine 3-0 victory over St Mirren, confidently brushing away any negativity from the defeat at Rangers a few days ago.


Nicolas Kuhn continued his fine form by netting his 15th and 16th goals of the season during the rout at Parkhead, and the Celtic wingers contribution is showing why the Scottish Premiership leaders were so keen to bring him to Glasgow's east end on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

"It was a very good afternoon for us," the Celtic manager told BBC Scotland.

"We are playing against a team that's very well organised and they've got some dangerous players.

"St Mirren have showed that throughout their campaign so far. We knew we were going to have to work really, really hard.

"The effort of the players, the movement of the players, the quality that they showed within the game was a really, really good level, and of course we score three, could have had one or two more.

"Overall, so, so pleased with the response."


On Kuhn, who took a bit of time to settle into Scottish football upon his arrival from Rapid Vienna in January 2024 but has since took the league by storm, Rodgers said: "[Nicolas Kuhn] still has more to go. We play with fast wingers who have the possibility to create goals and score goals because of how we play.

"For him and his numbers this season, it's really impressive."

 

I've no listened to him but he thought there was too many groans in the crowd so * off down the tunnel without doing a lap at full time?

 

They can have him after that to be honest. He's just outright lied about our fans and then pundits on Clyde 1 who weren't at the game are saying he's spot on.

Reaction to his comments on here is a bit OTT imo.

The reaction to Taylor from a lot of our support is pretty poor, he's a limited player and we're clearly looking to upgrade on him but the way some of our fans talk about him, you'd think he'd be a first choice player for the huns.

He probably could have worded it better though, can tell the stress from the huns game got to him a bit.

 

He’s not that wrong. I also find it somewhat regrettable sharing the stadium with some of these clowns shouting and bawling all the time.

The state of the place for the YB game will be a sight to behold with these folk on a knife edge all the time.

 

Aye I'm not looking forward to that game at all, I think we'll win but if we aren't 2-0 up before half time you know it won't be pretty, in here and the stadium.

He's bang on about the home support getting on players backs early. Been happening for ages and almost straight away. Can regularly hear the groans when it's no going our way..

As for the passing back. Aye that's fine to change the attack sometimes, but some of our play involves it far too often. When Ralston is in he does it so often. Hatate does it quite a bit. Taylor. Under no real pressure and sometimes at the halfway line. It's a lack of bravery at times for me..

As for that speech on Taylor, * * man it was toe curling

Our fans were a disgrace against Brugge when it come to booing when we were going backwards. If fans are going to give it out, then if you get some back, they will need to pull up their big boy pants and accept it. Don’t see any big deal regarding singing about Tierney though. That was daft from Rodgers to comment on that I feel.
