Aye I think the number of games is taking its toll. We’ve still managed to grind out results, and that is the main thing. No midweek game hopefully allows us to recharge the batteries going into another busy schedule.

I am hopeful that the difference from this point is the schedule at least for the next couple of weeks is heavy for everyone so it’s an even playing field not us playing 3 games a week and opponents only 2.

The other thing is with so many home fixtures we should be able to rotate so no player is having to play 3 games in a row.

I think saying we've been off the boil since Leipzig is a bit harsh.

We were excellent second half against Hearts, excellent first half against Ross County and I wouldn't really say the two draws in Europe were bad performances, just more timid than they should have been. The Aberdeen game wasn't a pretty performance but considering the form they were in and the weather conditions, just getting out of there with a win was enough.

Since that game, we've went to Pittodrie, Tynecastle and Rugby Park and won, and we've just secured another trophy.

I do agree that performances need to be better, but we're still winning games, I don't think the schedule has helped at all, hopefully we do re-enforce in January, will make a big difference going forward.

This is your only input after the below tirade of absolute * during the game to then completely disappear when the game and the cup is won?

Are you genuinely for real mate?

They’ve definitely moved more towards the sideways and backwards passing and generally not moving as fast.

It may well be tiredness kicking in. Mental as much as physical. It could also be they’re trying to play a bit more conservatively to manage the schedule.

I’m not overly worried. As you say we need some more options from the bench and if we can do that the style will pick up again I’m sure.

It's probably a mixture of both. There won't have been much time for coaching during this period either. Wee bit of time off this week thankfully

Tremendous from BR again, we were all crying out for a change at half time. Then to all or at least most, he brings scales on and changes the game. This guy is some coach. Brilliant, I thank you again Brendan, take a bow.

He’s world class. That was decisive and strong management that could have easily made him look daft.

And I tell you what, he knows exactly how to get over the line in finals and derbies which more than justifies his 60k a week.

The ultimate Hunskelper :BR1: If it wasn't for a deflected Ryan Jack goal in 2018 he'd be unbeaten against Sevco in 20 games, extraordinary.

Think he's grown professionally and personally since his first stint. Clearly a good coach and people person who motivates and inspires his players.

As good as we're gonna get.

Bonus; has the huns on strings.

He'll stay his 3 years and leave. Not a minute earlier. Thats what he's promised and when he delivers another 2 trebles before then, leaving us in an even stronger position on and off the pitch then fair play to him. Rodgers' redemption era is halfway.

What @honda says above covers it.

I'll enjoy him whilst he's here.

For those who are in love.....
Been pretty much faultless this year and for the month or so that really sealed the league last season..

Our forms been unreal so I can't really grumble about much. Most complete Celtic side I've seen for a lomg time when we've been on it, but....

Games like Sunday when we've been man marked and there's been a few now....I really feel like we should mix it up better..

We've got the best keeper I've ever seen at us for his distribution. We've got the 2 fastest players in the league as our front 3 and they stack up high in the champions league also..

Use it better. There's no one that can't tell me that Schmeichel couldn't put Kuhn or Maeda away a fair bit to turn teams squeezing us and springing traps on our defence whilst man marking McGregor..

I'm never saying don't play out of presses but don't be so obviously stuck doing it when failing to get out or get much joy in certain parts of games..

I was just saying about a different option if Kyogo leaves and I'd still want that even if he stayed....a third option. Someone who's more comfortable taking it in and turning a defence and even a 9 who can run with the ball and occupy a defence. As well as take it in and put the wingers in/away..

Was busy celebrating after we won.

Has * all to do with you anyway, tbf. We were an absolute joke on Sunday and I’ll call it as I see it.

Great to get the win but improvement required in January and beyond. Pretty simple.
