A sticky spell no doubt, but you'd absolutely take this start to the season..

Dortmund definitely took the wind out of us..

Its about how we respond now, Atalanta will be a massive test.

No plan B and too loyal to his favourites.

    * poor from Rodgers today. Not the first time we've rested on our laurels and blew a good lead under his watch.

Players were wasteful but it's on him to keep up the intensity when we're winning.

Hard to criticise him too much for today, the same team the bossed it first half and went 2 up came then came back out half asleep. I doubt very much he told them to stop pushing.

Subs were good and made a difference, issue today was players thinking they had won it already coming back out after half time. Still should of won it in the end as well.

Don't think I'd lay much blame with him either. Certain individual performances 2nd half just weren't good enough and I don't think that's his fault.

Do think you need to credit Aberdeen. I realise its celtic and when you draw a game its the beginning of the apocalypse but they're clearly at it this season. Their form isn't a fluke.

Still should have won though and our players were too wasteful. Badly need more attacking options.

    Out maneuvered today.

The changes made at half time by Thelin had him beat. I didn't see much response from him.

There's a nievity about him that worries me considering he's an elite manger.

If he sets up against Atalanta on Wednesday the same as he did against Dortmund (which was one of the least enjoyable games I’ve ever attended in 34 years of going to games) he’s going to be under the cosh & rightly so imo. Massive test for him & the players. Really hope we don’t have a repeat episode. We are better than that.

Irony of you questioning our manager’s competence when you can’t even spell that word, let alone have a decent attempt at ‘naivety’ or ‘manoeuvred’.

This is the part that irks me.

Im in agreement, we do need more attacking options, but once again, i dont think, despite the hype, the last window could be qualified as a success.

I think our major issue is middle to back.

Scales has been superb i will admit, but we needed and still need better.
Trusty doesnt look anything near his price tag, in fact, so far off it we should be giving Nawrocki a chance.
Valle wouldn't even have the option to buy on the table; something that irks me, and taylor is disaster in europe.
Thats only two players in an entire backline from the squad (ccv and aj) deemed fit for purpose ie. Can handle a CL game, or even a tough europa opponent without * the bed or looking *.

In the middle, we STILL have no DM. Someone to enforce the game and mop up in front of the defence.

You only have to look at Dortmund, and indeed yesterday to see where our true limitations are.

For about 20 minutes of yesterday's game i counted how many times we lost the ball in the middle of the field, and how many times a poor touch or misplaced from the sheep saved our arses, as well as few last ditch tackles.

Yesterday was a game we should've won comfortably, by the chances alone. I put it down to a bad day, but the weaknesses and limitations we have are now becoming quite evident.

Der Hun has been yapping for 3 years about how we can be got at. Just press us and get in our faces. Im loathed to say it, but its starting to look a little more accurate than it ever has.

Rodgers needs to tactically get his head out of his * as far as this squad and future transfers are concerned.

Loving everybody dying to put the boot in :56:

Key players only had one training session.

Our most important player still missing.

We’ll be alright. I think we’ll respond with a good performance on Wednesday.

Needs to get his finger out his *. Similar to the start if last season when we looked like we were going through the motions. This is different though. Looks like a lot of the team have lost a bit of swagger and he's struggling to bring it back.

CCV is a massive miss as well though. Defence is a riot without him. Obviously filters through the team when it's calamity jane behind you.

I think we've started well enough to put this down to a very poor half against the 2nd best team in the league. We clearly have a poor defence without CCV and we always seem to struggle more after international breaks, but we knew these things already.

To be honest I'm not confident at all for the game against Atlanta but we need a turnaround against Motherwell next week.

Been a poor few games but that happens to any good team. Feel when we need a goal and Kyogo goes off then it probably wouldn’t come. He’d score in that last 10 mins to win it. He’s always find a bit of space.

He’s extremely tactically inflexible but we’ve always known that, it was apparent before he was at us first time, seen the same his first spell here, and he still is.

He doesn’t change tactically he changes the personnel to different styles of players, and trusts in that.

Thelin done a number on him yesterday but he’s right to point to if we were ruthless we’re going in at half time 3 up, just after halftime we should have buried a couple chances. Then they scored, and we were rocked. But the other manager made the changes and changed the tactics to * damage us.

And when we were absolutely rocked by that, he should tweak stuff tactically, rather than just trust subs will change it.

But, honestly do not think we played poorly yesterday, not at our best but we weren’t bad. Fair play to Aberdeen, I’m weirdly not annoyed at all, and I feel I should be but they done * brilliant, and they grinded out a draw. 99% of the time, we win that last seconds of the game. They were * adamant not too allow that. Competition is healthy, and they are competing

Disagree on the subs making a difference.

Forrest was awful. Idah and Bernardo didn’t really offering anything.

McCowan was the only one who looked lively and played quite well. The fact it took until the 77th minute to bring him on was mental.

That’s just not true mate, he’s the most tactically flexible manager in our history.

His in game management is the best I’ve seen at the club.

A ridiculous amount of points and trophies been won because of his adjustments.
