It’s early days this season, but in terms of cohesion, organisation, and patterns of play, this is the best Celtic team I’ve seen.

The way he galvanised us last year, the way he managed the media narrative, guided us over the line, and the way he has us playing now. The desire in every one of those players is so obvious to see.

Deserves a * load of credit. Delighted for him that it’s working out. Took a huge set of baws for him to return and it’s paying off big time. Man’s been backed with a few players he wanted and look what it gets you.

The football and goals from start to finish is the best I can remember ever although my memory is utter pish as I can't even think of anything like it.

We had a few cracking performances under Rodgers first time around.

I can mind a midweek game in Lennon’s first spell just before Covid at Fir Park. 4-0 I think. Eduoard and Griffiths up front.

Mind in Lennon’s first spell as well we dished out a few doings at Tynecastle when we were outstanding.

But that’s right up there with anything I’ve ever seen.

Got to be honest, the way we've started this season; playing this football, it's the best I can remember.

Angeball is still ahead for me but only just, if we keep this up until Christmas it'll easily surpass.

Yeah, I was on the fence about making that sort of claim until I saw tonight's game.

I genuinely can't remember a game where every single goal we scored was a thing of beauty. That was 6 of the best today in every sense of the word.

We'll see how we get on in Europe against the better teams, I just hope we give a good account of ourselves. Contrary to many, I wasn't impressed with what I saw last year in Europe.

It's the big next step for us.

Yep. Been saying the exact same..

The shape. Our tempo. Said about our press early on this season. Our defense. Our set pieces..

I could go on and on but this is the best and most complete Celtic side I've seen for a long time..

This wee guy deserves so much credit. I've slaughtered him for obvious reasons and much of last season but the transformation. The players he's made better, almost every single one them you could argue..

It's a joy watching this side. Makes you proper buzzing to be a Tim. Sublime..

    6 games, scored 20 and conceded 0.

    Incredible!

I think it is better than anges team, we've conceded zero goals in the league, aren't as easy to counter attack against and in general just seem to be slightly more composed.
Also I think it's pretty clear kasper is an upgrade on hart in both shot stopping and playing out from the back.

He just sees the game so different...I won't knock what Ange done but for me Brendan knows how to play the way Ange did but has us so much more secure defensively... Ange was very I won't change how I want the game played whereas Brendan thinks about how to hurt teams but not leaving us so exposed. He's an upgrade on Ange for me.

Think Rodgers has learnt from Ange. Can still see his influence. Credit to Rodgers this season as think he struggled with it last season.

    It definitely is for me..

Loved Ange's side but we didn't press as well collectively. We were horrendous at set pieces (both ends). We looked far worse playing out from the back, mainly as Schmeichel is a lot better on the deck as you've alluded to..

We're much better balanced as a whole for me..

It's as close to perfect as I'd want from a Celtic side..

Add that to the 4 incredible team goals we scored against the huns a few weeks back.

Credit where it's due. I was never bitter about his leaving but I did somewhat dread his return because of how boring the football was during his first run. I basically stopped going to games and would often fall asleep watching them at home. But there's no sign of that safe, plodding, possession game he used to favour this time round.

I can't wait to watch Celtic the way we're playing right now. It's not just the scoreline but we're approaching the game with real gusto, playing attractive, attacking football. Got to give it to him, he understood we wanted to continue with attacking football and found a way to do it without just imitating Angeball. Really impressive.
