No, am saying you suggesting we might not beat the huns at all this season is pathetic. And an absolute red neck.

Genuinely baffled by Brendan's backtracking here. Seemed optimistic at the start of the window. A few weeks ago saying it was about getting the right players and then now saying he's hoping for Idah by the end of the window and "1 or 2 more" Really? What exactly is 1 or 2 more meant to do? Our starting XI is excellent, but our squad depth is shocking. An injury to Taylor, CCV, Calmac or Kyogo leaves us woefully short with no like-for-like quality ready to step into their shoes. A disgrace of a situation and simply not good enough. I feel sorry for Brendan I think he'd have walked this summer if he hadn't done so previously. He's here now because he values his standing with the club and his relationship with the Celtic family above all else. Board have taken a * on him.

These are the worst transfer windows in a long time, Lennon, Ange etc would never have accepted this you always felt under previous managers that at least the got guys signed in the positions we need.

Now we're ending transfer windows with the squad not even filled right lol

1 left-back for 8 month and a combined about 3 months of transfer windows open during that time and still waiting is shocking.

Honestly I've always felt Rodgers was just a yes man for the board. Does he even care that much? I mean it's his third transfer window now and each one has been an undeniable disaster. They were terrible in his first spell too.

Why isn't he fuming? Why does he defend the board/recruitment at pretty much every opportunity? If he is being shafted, why is he not applying the necessary pressure and calling it out?

It's the same questions I had last Summer and in January. None are being answered. I think Rodgers behind the scenes is much sweeter with Lawwell, Desmond etc than most like to think.

He's Desmond's boy, Desmond runs the club, he gets paid a * tonne of money. Has anyone considered that he is just going along with it? Because that looks genuinely like what is happening to me. Every transfer window points to that.

Whatever he says publicly, he’ll be * fuming at this transfer window so far.

The team that finished that match was a shambles. Half of them should be nowhere near a Celtic team.

I didn't say that. You have misinterpreted what I said. Read the context and it will be clear what was meant.

There's no doubting who's on point for the delivering the recruitment, over to you Mr Nicholson.

Don't tell me what I meant. I know what I meant. You're effectively calling me a liar there. I'm telling you now that I meant "beat Rangers to the title". The context was a point about the board being happy just to beat Rangers. In that context, it's clear that "beat Rangers" doesn't mean in a single game FFS. That doesn't make any sense! Even our board wouldn't be happy with that. It's in that context that you should interpret my post.

And if you still insist on calling someone who you don't know a liar with no evidence of them lying (I actually can't remember ever flat out lying on here), then you need to have a word with yourself.

Am not telling you what you meant, it's there in black and white what you SAID. You're now trying to invent a context to try and change the meaning of what you said.

If you meant you're not confident we'll win the league, you'd have said that, but you didn't. Who gives a * anyway? This was last night's *, I've no interest in an ongoing pointless debate in semantics with you again, it's boring as *.

He is the coach and clearly scouting as well. One of the issues there is that his knowledge and to where he scouts is shallow, expensive (England) and not the best for value.

So we miss out on talents from Europe, Americas. Probably why the board are tight fisted (not their own but affect their bonuses) as a few players would easily cost close to.£20m down south.

So, get a proper set up for recruitment ya * diddys. Be professional behind the scenes as you are off the field.

    I love this guy.

The way he’s getting a modest at best squad playing is so impressive.

The balls to come back as well after all the * he got for understandably leaving the first time is to be admired.

I only wish he got backed a bit (a lot) more, I’m convinced he’d take this club to the next level.

He would’ve the first time, and he’ll do it this time if the club match his ambition.

The juxtaposition of the joy I have at the obvious improvements in this team, and the absolutely * all that he’s getting in return, is incredibly frustrating to say the least.

I don't think his ambition will ever be matched tbh.

I've came to terms with it now. I'm now lowering my expectations to even 2 additional players having started our wanting 5 minimum. I'd imagine he's perhaps doing the same.

Would honestly love to be a fly on the wall in the recruitment meetings. He must be raging.
