Where has that come from? I'm only criticising Rodgers, not the team. I thought the team was amazing (except Taylor) and have said so. Does criticising one guy (Rodgers) make me a **** when I've spent half the season defending him.

I plan to criticise Taylor too BTW (I just haven't done so yet). Will you insult me for that too?

Leave the moaning until after the season ends

We've just beat our rivals to potentially win the league

    1) First half: we played them off the park and yet 2-1 was about the right score, because we didn't have an answer to that ball from their RW onto Taylor which looked dangerous several times. It's not new, Rodgers should have an answer to that by now. He didn't.

    2) First half: there was a period of about 10 minutes in the middle where we couldn't beat their press. We figured it out eventually (because we have better players than them), but the players should already be drilled on how to beat the pressing patterns of our main rivals. We shouldn't have to be figuring it out in real time.

    3) Game management in the second half: we were panicking big time at the end.

Wish it was more comfortable, but as long as he has the huns number, got to give him credit. I want him seriously backed next season.

I think you're being very harsh mate, that's not to say it was a perfect performance and there should be zero criticism, things we could've done better aye but it was a pressure game and the players got the all important 3 points.

It hasn't been a vintage season and i think we all agree that ahead of next season the recruitment has to be better, imperative the Board back the manager.

I'm convinced we will be much stronger next season. :50:

Mate, apart from Taylor, every single one of those players today was outstanding. I think that was our best performance of the season.

Win the cup and Voldermort has a worse record than Moley against us. He at least, beat our reserves.

I promise I am not trying to be controversial, but highlighting Taylor as having a bad game when Scales had a total nightmare and Hatate was so far off the pace I think is very harsh on Taylor.

Scales is the left sided central defender who never covers the big guys at the back post and leaves them for Taylor (one of the smallest on the pitch).

Taylor was fouled for their goal today. Watch it back and see the Sevco player piggy back Taylor to head the ball back across goal.

That's fair. I don't think Rodgers has become a bad manager. There are things that deserve criticism; but he deserves his share of praise.

Having said that, I do think Clement won the tactical battle just from the scoreline alone. We were a level above them today and yet they could have nicked a draw. That worries me for the cup final.

Scales was much better than Taylor. No even close.

I don't actually agree about Scales and Hatate. I think Dessers got the better of Scales 3 times in the first half (1 being the goal); but I think Dessers is a decent player so that's going to happen sometimes and I think Scales did enough excellent defending today to more than make up for it. Hatate, I thought was incredible.

The margin of victory was only by a single goal, the reason for that wasn't tactical it was poor finishing on our part and timing of the run to beat the offside.

Maybe you're right, mate. I just genuinely feel a bit worried having watched us hanging on at the end after being the best team again, just like the last game at CP.

It's worth thinking about, mate. If Clement can keep these games that close when we clearly have the better players, then what will happen if we have another window like the last 3 and if they back Clement they way they previously backed Beale?

He has had the chest puffed out and has oozed confidence for the past few months. It’s like having a title race on has brought out the best in him. He’s a winner and that has shown in our performances recently. When the pressure has been on, he has been a calming figure. There’s a reason the huns were gutted when he come back, and our record against them this season is the reason why.
