We have to keep challenging the abysmal standards of VAR, the SFA want to sweep the matter under the carpet.
There must be consistent standards and if not then it must be raised by the club through all channels available, the board must grow a pair and consistently back the manager.

 

Hope he doubles down next time there's a fiasco, which will be every other game between now and the end of the season. * them, keep calling it out.

 

Yeah, that's where I saw him call this outcome this morning. He also called the Man City game in advance. Smart cookie.

Not so sure this is the win some are painting it as. Yes the SFA have essentially taken a step back but he shouldn't be banned at all and if we were really going to go after them I don't imagine it would end with the hearing today as it appears to be with the club statement

This was a chance to take them to task and I feel we have just accepted the one match ban and moved on obviously I don't know what happened but for me I'd be showing evidence of incompetence and demanding real answers or heads,

Being faux outraged at how the Rodgers thing is noting and most important thing is how both celtic and rangers are so bad at having no away fans

 

So, he can pick which game to miss, to serve that second half of the ban? Our club shat it, in any case.

 

Feels like a bit of an easy out for all involved. Celtic get to say they stood their ground. League get to say they dished out a punishment. And both sides probably wanted to avoid any escalation that could have been caused if Rodgers was banned for the Rangers game.

 

When I heard that we were bringing in some smart * lawyer I thought that we were going to go full Tonto on those cheating masonic feckers but no, we have been sent to the back of the bus once again and have given c*nts like Beaton and Dallas free reign to shaft us at every opportunity

 

Aye the story of the fancy * "Messi" lawyer seem to be used just to make the fans feel like we was going baw deep in to this.

It would seem both sides accepted a middle ground of taking a punishment without making it too harsh.

Consider that (going by what I heard in SSB), other managers for other clubs have had similar 1 game and 1 suspended punishments for these things, then it would appear we got dealt the punishment that was expected. Regardless

So what did the smart * lawyer actually do?

I really was hoping for a statement from the club that would have read more of an action statement.

Knew this pish about the brilliant lawyer would end in the way it has done. This canny surprise anybody

 

He also made up VAR audio he said the commentators are privvy to, and was talking 100% pish by anyone else that was privvy to listening in.

* tried to be mysterious and vague dropping bombshells as well. Guys a complete bell end, him leaving Scottish coverage and being replaced by Chris Sutton is a move that brilliant I’m surprised that it was Sky doing it. It’s the only improvement for Scottish coverage they’ve ever done

 

So the Messi lawyer got it reduced from 2 or 3 games to 1, wow!

This a premeditated, admittedly clever, distraction from the real issues and bigger problems with the coach and our club, please don't be fooled

 

Do touchline bans even make any difference these days? They’re literally in constant communication with the bench anyway.

Would be different if the manager was banned from communicating with the bench whatsoever

 

Atleast we spent something for once
