He's one of the main reasons we've * a big lead and they are top of league. They probably don't have a bad word to say about him.

They have plenty bad words to say about him. Similar to the ones you posted previously in fact.

More than half the season gone now and we dont look like we have improved or worked it out, nor does he know his strongest team.
He didnt mention lack of quality until after we blew the lead.

Not the same sorta thing despite similar language mate. From someone as press trained and experienced as he is, it was inadvisable and daft. But also seen it’s something said a lot in his neck of the woods with no connotations to it, so got the benefit of the doubt from me due to that.

But it was patronising and daft.

If he was pretending it was good enough we’d be complaining as well mate. I’d rather he be honest and upfront, than try and hide the fact it needs to be better.

We’ve had managers in the past doing that and it was always an irritating thing for me, because it was always met with ‘we all know he’ll be saying different behind closed doors’

I think he does know the strongest team, but hasn’t had that available to him all season. And when there’s been a glimpse of a settled 11 injuries have disrupted it. Like the first time Tomoki came in with McGregor pushing up. Both times soon as it was available, it wasn’t.

Both had been fit for a large part of the season and it took him until nearly December to introduce Iwata and push Mcgregor up. It was only after that time that Iwata and then Mcgregor got injured. Even his use of Bernardo, sparingly in the league and starting in europe was bizarre.

And dont get me started on the wingers. If Forrest is his best winger, why isnt he starting?

According to BR Iwata hadn’t been available for games he would have brought him in for, but aye beforehand there was probably a bigger opportunity. But it was obvious he wanted it to be Hatate, O’Riley, McGregor… with Turnbull playing a part and mostly as a message to Hatate to up his game.

He said about Forrest a few weeks ago not just that interview but alluded to it in the interview as well when he said it off the cuff, physical demands of the position is the issue with Forrest, but on the wing we’ve had issues with availability this season as well.

Pre-season was shaped majorly around having Abada on the wing there, pre-season probably being the time we had mostly everyone fit… CCV aside, who was rushed back for the start of the season, which was a monumentally terrible decision.

I can’t think of 4 games in a row this year where the ‘key’ players have all been available

Patronising I agree with. Which the reporter took on the chin and said herself there was nothing in it however. Which there wasn’t really. A few on here couldn’t wait to get their knickers in a twist over it though.

It’s not what I’d expect off our manager, especially one as clued up and media savvy as Brendan is.

And it lost the support he had from every female fan I know, proper die hards. It wasn’t knicker twisting, it was * daft

Yet it didn’t bother the reporter one iota.

He spoke about needing first team ready players all through the summer transfer window. What did you think he meant by that?

And fair play to her, but I understand why other woman who follow Celtic would think patronising * upon hearing that and swinging them towards disliking him, especially when it’s on a knife edge with him already.

It’s attitudes they’ve all encountered before that, but we move on, it’s just a wee thing I’d rather our manager doesn’t partake in and don’t think it’s clutching at straws and wanting to find a reason to be offended. If it was the opposite end of the city, we’d all be saying how its an example of their ‘traditional beliefs’ and to be expected.

Some people would undoubtedly. I just find it hilarious that you have people getting offended for someone who really doesn’t care about it. Suppose that’s the way of the world these days.
