Why does anyone care if he's banned? We're * when he's in the dugout and we'll remain *. He still coaches the team with his godawful football.

Maybe if he sits in the stand he will be able to see the crap he has been serving up, that appearently he is oblivious to from the view he has had in the dugout and can change up things as they need to be changed? :p

Easter road is not comparable Taz. Both penalties were absolute non-debatable stonewall penalties. Not relevant mate.

Also hate the argument we would’ve lost without the decisions against us at Tynecastle. There’s nothing to suggest that’s true

In the first instance, there was not a single person who appealed for that second one v Hibs. That was purely 100% on VAR, and if VAR hadn't interfered noone would've blinked an eye. Just as it was v Hearts with the Iwata one, that not a single Hearts player appealed for that, it was purely on Beaton on VAR who decided ti intervene. If it had've gone play on, not a single Hearts player or fan after the game would've kicked up a stink about it either.

As for the second instance, we never looked like scoring once Yang went off. Couple of hal;f chances were as good as it got. If you don't score, you don't win, let alone prevent the other team from scoring, which we have been awful at. 1 clean sheet in the last 7 games - and 0 in the last 6 in the league says ity all.

I mean, there is a distinct difference between the final penalty we got at Easter Road and the penalty given against us on Sunday. There was a foul on Kyogo and the penalty was the correct decision. I'm yet to see a pundit/commentator say VAR got the penalty on Sunday correct.

I also disagree that we never looked like scoring. We did miss some decent chances. Idah missed a couple of big chances, as well as the penalty. O'Riley could and should have done better on a couple of occasions as well.

Most of those chances came when Yang was still on the park. After it, they were few and far between ahlf chances at best. Apart from that goal glut where we scored 9 goals in 106 minutes (2nd half v Motherwell & 1st half v Dundee), we have seriously struggled to score and noone can deny that.

If we're counting offside goals as scoring, don't forget that Hearts also had one chalked off for offside also.

I think we are getting off the topic here. This discussion literally started as highlighting how BR is using this VAR redirect to divert attention away from the * poor job he has been doing, and here we are doing exactly that, getting sucked into that redirection. :/

    1. distinct difference between the two you’re neglecting to acknowledge. Vs Hibs, nobody claimed for it but replays showed it was a penalty. No ifs ands or buts, it was a stonewall penalty. Vs Hearts, Iwata’s “handball” was never a penalty. Both awarded by VAR, one correctly, one incorrectly.

    2. We were poor once Yang went off. That means absolutely nothing if we’re talking about how the game would have went if that decision and the Iwata penalty didn’t go against us. Thats what I’m talking about here.

Your point is that Rodgers is doing a poor job. No arguments we had an awful spell for a large chunk of the season but we then scored 10 goals in 135 mins of football prior to the Hearts game. He was then denied the opportunity to continue that form by shocking refereeing so I don’t see the point in pointing at that and saying “oh look we’re back to what it was like pre the second half at Motherwell”

Whether he stays or goes, so much periphery rubbish and others to clear out. Terrifying how much noise there is. Literally a whole team and bench.

Hart, Siegrist, Lagerbielke, Bernabei, Montgomery, Kobayashi, McCarthy, Kwon, Shaw, Tilio, Forrest, Johnston, Haksabanovic, Tilio, Oh, Kenny

We will miss Hart, maybe, given his decline. £300k a week in total? £12m a year?

Well there is something to "suggest" we wouldnt have won the game anyway. That being our form for the entire season.

We were favourites to win the game and started pretty well before the sending off

When they were given the numerical advantage it changed the course of the game.

sick of talking about that game. It’s in the past, we’ve a league to win

Still doesn't alter the fact it was entirely feasible we might not have won that game without those two decisions. We were favourites in all 9 previous domestic games we failed to win this season.

I'm not saying it's the case btw. Just it's a distinct possibility.

I would say us missing the penalty had already altered the game.
