This. We always wait until its too late, then we act. Why not get rid now and at least try and save the season. I can't see the logic in keeping Rodgers and hoping it'll change.

I'd rather put him in charge until the end of the season trying to play Ange's system than leave it to fraudgers until the end of the season.

Obviously I'd rather we went out and got a better manager that could actually get the most out of the squad but there's zero chance of that happening before the summer because the board are inept.

Everyone is poor at the moment though, not one player playing to their ability. Rodgers unable to change the system. All subs on Saturday were basically like for like subs who didnt offer anything different.
We are playing terrible football in the second half of games and he doesnt know how to rectify it. The two advanced midfielders should have been sacrificed long ago and his wingers play too high up and cut in far too much. Our full backs bomb forward to support and leave us vulnerable to the long ball counter which has stung ua repeatedly now. We have the same issues game after game.

They're basically old rich *, playing out a real life version of Football manager. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if they meet at the club house once a week, and deluded fud recommended signing Freddy Adu or Ibrahima Bakayoko. Detached from any reality.

Bet they don't run their own businesses with such contempt or unprofessionally.

We dont create clear cut chances anymore because we are so pedestrian on the ball. All space in behind is lost because we play horse shoe football. It just doesnt work, so why wont he change it?

CCV, Kyogo, Mcgregor, O’Riley, Hatate. Better than any of the rest in the league.

If Kennedy gets it it will be a repeat of 10 in a row season. He's * hopeless and should have been away that summer rather than have him forced on another manager.

Only need to look at run huns are on to see what can be achieved by appointing a competent manger rather than given it to someone on interm basis that is not good enough to do the job.

Years ago I worked at the BBC. I was chatting to a producer who said he went overseas for a work trip and everything went wrong. He was asked to file a report so he wrote a very detailed report. His manager condensed it all down to one sentence, 'there were some technical difficulties' when he filed his report to his line manager. That's how it works..if they bin him, they admit they made a mistake.

Yep we'll give him another month and by that time we will be 6 or 7 pts behind and league will be gone.

Any celtic manager finishing a game with that back 4 is going to struggle. Absolute negligence.

They won't bin him, they'll believe he can still win the league..

Which I know is unlikely but it isn't impossible yet.

True!! But they were getting same help under Beale but he was such a useless * that he couldn't get full benefit.

Clement is nothing special but unlike beale or Rodgers he's seems capable of beating the * in the league

Yep bcoz they don't do forward or progressive planning.

All you need to do is look at results and performances this season to see it's not working and we are gonna drop at least another 5 or 6 points to the other * in the league.

For once they could be proactive and act now.

We were pish the whole second half from defence to attack. But its still a better team than Kille, Hearts, etc. Even against Ross County we almost crumbled and hung on. How long you going to blame the defence and not the manager?

    It was his appointment.

By all accounts Lawwell and his idiot son wanted Maresca, for once they may have actually have been on the right path, he played simialr style to Ange and had experience of developing young players that had been signed or identified in part by Lawell Jr, he's also proven at Leicester that he's a good manager who plays good football.

Then the daft auld *, who isn't on the board, doesn't attend games, board meetings or agms decided that his 35% stake in the club allows him to appoint managers based on his ridiculous old Irish man views of football that the Premier league in England is the be all and end all and anyone who's worked there and happens to be Irish is good enough for us.

That old * should be nowhere near any decisions being made at the club. He owns a 3rd of the club but gets 100% say. Absolute * shambles

Wouldn't trust this guy to finish second in a two man egg and spoon race.
