Heres a thought. Maybe the summer window wasn't as bad as we think it was.

We've seen players that were standouts last season look anything from mediocre to abysmal. We've seen players that started the season fairly well regress as the weeks have went by. Also, who's to say the players many are bemoaning missing this season, Jota, Starfelt, Mooy, would have fared any better under Rodgers. The evidence is increasingly pointing to the probability that some, if not all wouldn't have.

It's becoming more and more apparent that what we are seeing is gross mismanagement, from the minute he stepped through the door. He has publicly stated the squad lacks quality, on numerous occasions. Does he think the players that make up that squad don't hear/read/watch this? Individually, the treatment/handling of some key players from the previous seasons and team selection/substitutions has bordered on bizarre at times. Most of the boys thst came in over the summer have been hung out to dry to varying degrees.

Is it Really any wonder that most of, if not all, the players look as if they have chucked it? Whilst I don't condone this kind of attitude I am by no means surprised it has transpired thus.

So, when you think about it there's every chance that Lagerbielke, Nawrocki, Holm, bernardo and Yang, palma even, might have performed better had they been managed differently(let's face it better) by a different(let's face it better) manager. Or even might have been ready to step up to the plate and make a telling contribution in the second part of the season if handled better by a better manager.

Some of these boys may be stars for us next season under a better manager. Stan Petrov anyone?

If he goes then we’re stuck with Kennedy till the end of the season which would be worse ,

really can’t see how he changes it other than getting the ball forward quicker there’s not much else he can do with the players at his disposal.

Maybe a free transfer in to help as even the games we have won recently they have been struggles

It's almost as if the Board didn't fully back Desmond's decision to bring Rodgers back.

They have seemed reluctant to back him, and Rodgers himself has lost his mojo.

There's no reason to keep him around at this point.

The league is done, 2 points or not.. We are not coming back to win this title. Rodgers is not the man to turn this around or take us forward. He is finished.

Kennedy is another yes man and will probably never be a good manager because of this, but I'd rather give him the reigns for a few games and get someone in who can put together a winning run until the season is over. I do not trust Rodgers to do this. The evidence is there, he hasn't been able to do this all season. Keeping him around just delays the inevitable, why do we never, ever * learn from these situations?

Punt Rodgers, the guy is rinsing us for millions and is failing spectacularly at every facet of his job: transfers, results, performances, style of play, morale, domestic competitions. What the *!

Get another guy in (even on a short term basis) with the qualities to reinvigorate this tired and depressed group of players. It's our only chance of winning this title. Then come June 2024, we need to kick every last one of those board members to the curb. A complete restart and revamp. Organised protests en masse. We got miraculously lucky with Ange but this will only get worse the longer those suits are in charge. I'm sick and tired of saying it, the fans need to step up.

If we are playing with wingers then make them go outside their man instead of cutting in all the time. It's a nonsense that Palma etc spend half their time coming into traffic and invariably going nowhere. Teams are wise to this and can defend it. It's not as easy to defend a winger who gets to the byline and gets crosses in.

I can accept people criticising Rodgers for tactics and the style of play. Anyone blaming him for the transfers though is throwing that in for good measure. It’s clear as day that these signings have Lawwell and son written all over them. Surely you can see that as well. Which is exactly why a different manager won’t solve the deeper issues at the club. That needs sorted first and foremost. We need gutted from the top down. Not from the bottom up.

    Jesus wept, you again:56:

You got a crystal ball then? ESP perhaps? A glimps into the multiverse even?

You know exactly how these players would have fared under a better manager?

Anyone conceding a title to the Huns at this stage needs to stay away from technology.

We could say that about every * player we have signed over the years then if that’s the case. It would be utter * stupid to do so, but using your theory we could.

No two ways about it, Rodgers ain't fixing this mess. We have some cracking players, a squad more than good enough to win the league, but it's blatantly obvious they don't trust him and are not performing for him.

If there was an outstanding candidate willing and ready to cone in and shake things up I'd say go for it, do it now. Feel it's unrealistic to sack him though with no one to replace him with.

    * disaster.

Said it in January as well. There was only one board between us and the huns that acted like they were in a title race. It wasn’t us. They have signed players who are making an impact and have freshened things up.

Desmond won't be getting rid of Rodgers due to he can't admit he got it wrong. That right there is conceding the title to the huns.

Continuing to try and solve a problem with something that's part of creating the problem will never work.

Even if we lose the league, I've no faith he'd be sacked..
