Ive lost all confidence in him, his brand of turgid, slow, ponderous football is chronic.

On one hand at least he's acknowledged it but on the other surely that's his job to fix it. We're halfway through the season, how hard is it to tell players to A) speed up passing and B) pass it forwards, why does that take months? :giggle1:

Having watched St Mirren absolutely decimate this Hibs team just 4 days ago and seeing how shockingly bad they were in that game, anything other than a comfortable win should be unacceptable here. St Mirren's best midfielder on the day couldn't even make our bench apparently so there's no argument for not having the quality.

Weirdly I have no faith in him to break teams down but think he’ll get4/6 points out the huns games.

More than halfway, and two windows down too. There’s no excuse, that’s why I’m so annoyed with him now.

    Edit:

If he stays for his full 3 years, (which is longer than everyone since Lennon the first time, so it’s a stretch) then he’s 33% of the way through his transfer windows.

So we’ve essentially written off the first third of his build for some unknown reason, which is damaging because it’s the most important part.

It’s not going to work out here. We might scrape this league but the wheels will fall off next season either way.

I highly doubt that. What are you basing that assumption off of?

Like it or not at the very least he does come from a family with celtic roots and has managed us before. He knows the pressures of the job.

Granted this will be the closest run he's had with fhe Huns but he will be well aware. Just because he doesn't show it to the media, he's hardly going to is he.

Me too. I watch his body language personally. He has a tendency to sulk when his ego is hurt; but as long as he is still trying, he's the best manager in Scotland and the second-best manager I've seen in my time supporting Celtic (since 92). If we get behind him and massage his ego a bit, I think he'll win it for us.

If he starts looking sullen, bored or sulky, we're screwed. It's one of the main reasons I want people to get off his back.

I find him to be a bit of all 3 of those since he arrived. You are obviously reading him differently.

Following Big Ange was always going to be tough for any manager but Ange should have been replaced with a manager that plays a similar style of football.
Changing managerial styles does not benefit the club in the slightest.

Well done Brendan, show the board what you've got to play with. This team he's chosen is a big middle finger to the board.

His reaction to Kühn's goal was rather subdued. Might be that I'm silly, but he seemed like a man who's winning 3-0, not in need of 2 goals.

Feels too late to sack him, but at this rate Kennedy stepping up doesn't feel like it would be a downgrade. John Barnes Celtic would have a field day against this side, it's that bad.

Aye nae idea what the game plan is meant to be to break Hibs down. Need players to take the game by the scruff of the neck as well. There’s nobody from middle to front you could say is having a great game.
