Before the Kilmarnock result, I'd have put this season down to almost entirely the boards fault, the last two league games have swayed it to almost 50/50, but I'd still have the board slightly more culpable.

I don't disagree entirely with your first point, but Ange did have a dreadful squad to start with. Ralston, Taylor, Murray, Moffat, Montgomery and Ajeti all played a large part in the first 6 months of that season. Our away form was shaky under Ange but truth be told, we dropped points mostly at difficult away grounds, the one blip was Livingston at home, who we should have beat if Giakoumakis scored his penalty.

I think Rodgers will probably get the season, but unless he wins the remaining games this month, I honestly fear for the league, and even if he does it'll go right down to the wire this season, where it really shouldn't have considering how Rangers started.

Personally, I’ll take him at his word on that, whether that’s true or sensible to take him at saying what’s factual - because then if he is the one calling the shots there, and he’s spent decent money on Lagerbielke and is punting him in January that’s damning on him.

And Nawrocki almost identical decisions there as well. We spent £8m/£9m on them, thats good * money for us.

But then we also need to think, why the * would he accept to be here, under a 3 year deal if the reasons he publicly argued with the higher ups and went stroppy over, and eventually left at the first chance was still the conditions he’d be under. He wouldn’t.

So feels like the full clubs fulla *

Also, Rangers' recruitment was * worse than ours over the Summer AND they had a worse squad to begin with. Yet they could feasibly be 5 points above us at the end of the month, have a league cup in the bag, and have European football after Christmas.

That's with donkeys like Lammers, Dessers, Matondo, Cifuentes, Dowell, Yilmaz etc. Plus they've had injuries too.

If this happens, what will the excuse be then?

The away form started off shaky, and after the first ten games of the season or so we went on an insane winning run. We had no right to be that consistent with that squad that saw us through to January when we moved fast and efficiently in the market to bolster the squad.

I thought the new CEO actually seen that it was beneficial to be swift and decisive in transfers, apparently it looks more like Ange was just booting arses to make sure.

Funny thing is, he’s been * astonishingly lucky Liam Scales has turned out to be what he’s been this season. He was on the verge of Aberdeen, we waited to ratify it till after playing them, we got injuries. He had to play. And that has been a saving grace for BR, imagine the options if not?

We've looked disjointed all season even when we had most of our players fit including reo and maeda etc.

He's been here for 5 months and we still have no idea what our style of play is other than he likes his wingers to cut in continuously which is beyond predictable for the opposition.

We have no fluency nor intensity in our play, players confidence is shattered especially kyogo and defensively we are a joke.
I don't see him miraculously turning this round, I don't see us signing these world beaters who are going to fix everything and now that things are beginning to turn toxic I just don't see this ending well.

It also has to be said the regression of players like Kyogo, AJ, Hatate, Calmac and even Taylor from last season has to be down to Rodgers. These players are unrecognizable from last season, for me that has to be down to Rodgers.

It is the boards fault. They’re a huge factor in this, as is Rodgers and are the players.

You’re at it here int ye, am too annoyed the day to reasonably tell :56:

Board have a lot of fault and blame to take, not getting the best out of guys who have played to a much higher level before a new manager isn’t one of them

Well we know he isn’t a * manager don’t we dafty. He won 7 trophies out of 7 previously, and left us with a pretty much guaranteed title in the bag. Anyone who truly believed he had the say on our summer window is either naive, or a * imbecile. So you can chose what one you are.

Pretty much all our transfers in the summer were done and dusted before Rodgers arrived.

How many of our squad from today are good enough to wear the jersey? Is that on Rodgers?

I think between the two clubs there’s almost £40m spent, a massive amount for Scottish football. Two good players in there, and ones on loan from Brighton.

    * me. Surely you don’t honestly believe that? You honestly think Tilio, Yang, Kwon etc were Rodgers signings? Nah, you must be pulling my plonker.

He was in the role for long enough to make ‘actual’ signings. He * okayed every one of them.

The truth of the matter is, he doesn’t know the market we shop in. Will be looking for some out of favour English * in Jan.

People will always wonder, especially when we’re a club that doesn’t have a director of football, but it’s really no different here to most clubs.

“We identify the profile of the players that we want. The recruitment team then scythe that down to a certain number.

Then it comes to me to decide on the best ones to bring in. And if none of the three are to the level, we don’t bring them, it’s as simple as that.

“It’s pretty clear. And that was one of the things, before I came and then when I did come in, I needed clarity around
    that.

“The club’s strategy is to bring in young players and we have done that during the last window"

From the gaffer's own mouth at the last AGM.

    He just needs to go.

; The players aren't playing for him.
; His style of football is * rotten.
; He still can't decide his best players, 5/6 months into the job.
; He's not got a scooby how to change things if we're struggling.
; His substitutions are baffling, to say the least.

It was an utterly lazy appointment by our board and it has backfired already. The same way they decides to bin all the CV's to give Lennon another shot. Did they interview anyone or just think "he worked last time." ???

There has been absolutely nothing on that park to suggest any improvement from his first few games, where the team looked like they had been thrown together last minute down a local park.

If he isn't away soon, the league is done.

In my view, Rodgers' mistake is trying to change how we play before acquiring the players to do it.

I don't think he's a bad manager or that the players don't want to play for him or anything like that. He's asking Taylor to play as a proper FB and Kyogo to drop deep and * like this. Absolutely no chance.

And why is he doing it? Ego. Had a team of winners playing another man's football, would rather change the entire squad to fit his way. That would be one thing if it needed a rebuild but it was a winning team. It's arrogant.
