Also while i'm here the club need to sort out our staff. We have 2 coaches. Any data analysts? Loan managers? We have a bare bones set up by looks of it. We could do with a Director of Football to oversee everything from youth, scouting, coaching, loans, women's team etc.
We always seem so * amatuer.

No wonder Howe took one look and ran. He probably wanted all that put in place and was told to * off.

Rodgers was a huge part of the problem today but there needs to be a look at the bigger picture and that’s the way this club is being run.

Unfortunately, for Brendan, his time with the fan base is gone. It’s too toxic. The board need to sack him or he needs to resign because I don’t think he’s the man we need, right now.

Seriously in the ‘Rodgers Out’ camp.

All he’s done is moan about the quality of the squad after poor results and performances but openly said at the AGM he approves of the boards transfer strategy and he had a hand in the signings.

He has drained the confidence of the players in the squad with his comments and nullified their strengths with his boring, pedestrian football.

Post match he said he seen that result coming and has seen tendencies in the squad that he doesn’t like. It’s your job to find a solution, not complain about the problem.

I’d expect his job is as safe as houses knowing this board of imposters.

They both need to go. Rodgers isn't the messiah some thinks he is and the board have held us back for 20 years. The combination of the two is a disaster for us.

His demeanor, team selections and game management have even * rubbish since day one. Not to mention his awful handling of players' confidence. His recent comments have been very poor. The window doesn't excuse how * we've been, I simply will not accept it.

The board should not be getting away with it though.

You've got to be joking. He is THE problem. Good managers get groups of players playing above themselves making them collectively better than the individual players. Like Ange did in his first season. Rodgers is doing the opposite.
He has to go or we win nothing this season. The huns took the bull by the horn and sacked Beale and it looks like it could pay off. We didn't do it in the COVID season and payed the price.
We're only top of the league as the Huns were so * at the start of the season and the win at Ibrox papered over the cracks.

They do need to go but given one has been holding us back for 20 years, I’d say it’s high time the focus was zoomed in on them.

Don’t think anyone is saying Rodgers is blameless, but this script has been written far too often in the last 20 years. There’s been one constant and that’s the board.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if this wee * has only come back here to ruin us for calling him a rat for so long....

I don't get it, I was under the impression he was still a good manager and we still have the best squad in the country so he should be able to get us winning games.
It looks to me like he's sending a message to the board that the squad is weak etc but what's the endgame? We get signings to improve us in January so we don't lose the league?
I follow the logic but I'd prefer it wasn't done at the expense of points in the league if that is what's happening. It's giving me the fear we could lose the title.

Yes I agree. If I had it my way they'd be gone tonight. But so would Rodgers, I don't rate him and do not believe he will bring us the success required.

I'd be a bit more forgiving if the football was at least somewhat decent. He's shown nothing, nada, zilch.

What the * has he meant to choose from the options he has had available? Genuinely.

His subs were baffling though, Murph.

Like bringing off Palma, putting on Bernabei and then 10 minutes later, taking off Taylor and putting on Forrest. That was beyond strange.

In your honest opinion do you not think with the talent we have in our squad that we should be able to beat hearts or any of the other mediocre teams in the leaugue.

I think he has to go. I think the fan base as a whole have turned on him and I said in a different thread that I don’t blame them one bit. They’re entitled to their opinions.

I just don’t think it brings the change many on here believe it will. People talking about McKenna from Ipswich, who’s done phenomenally well but have you seen their style of football? It’s not exactly amazing to watch.

There’s a bigger issue here and until that’s resolved, nothing will change within the club institutionally.

The fact is that a good manager wouldn't be losing to Hearts and Kilmarnock and drawing with St J and Motherwell at home with the players he has. The recruitment hasn't been great but he's got the players available underperforming. He's an imposter. Elite manager my *.

The board are the ones who are majorly at fault, but Rodgers has been far from great himself.

Bringing Bernabei on, who's been bombed out prior, to play on the left when Frame had a good cameo against Feyenoord. Palma was poor but replacing him with Bernabei? Horrendous.

Almost entirely ignoring Iwata prior to the Hibs game despite the fact our midfield looked far from consistent after Hatate got injured. Ange did the same, but at the very least we had a very solid midfield and we looked a threat during his tenure

Completely bombing out Nawrocki and Lagerbielke for that long streak of * in Nat Phillips, who almost single-handedly cost us last weekend against Kilmarnock.

Not willing to adapt formations is another, it's clear we have a problem on the wings, and Palma can play through the middle, so why not change it? or at the very least play Kyogo and Oh together. We've got the CB'S to play a 3 CB formation, why not try that, even once?

There's a plethora of issues above Rodgers, but he's far from faultless, and I think he's already lost the support of the majority of the fanbase, any more lost points and the league is over.

What would your subs have been? The options are so bad it’s unbelievable.the fact we are having to bring on Forrest and Bernabei tells us all we need to know. They weren’t good enough last season. With £72m in the bank, why are they good enough now?
