Thinking about it it's not a huge loss, we still have a squad far superior to anyone else in the league. Neil Lennon is a more than adequate replacement even if it's short term and our current form has more to do with the January signings rather than any tactical changes Rodgers has made, we were *-poor in the first half of the season under BR, Lenny is more than capable of making sure the team continues this form until the end of the season.

Still pretty disappointed in Rodgers though if he walks out with 3 months left, it's not the way you treat the club you claim to love regardless if there's some needle with the board, there's more to Celtic than the boardroom.

 

If he goes I’ll be heartbroken

Really never had him down as a badge kisser thought he had a lot more about him than that. The writing was on the wall after the window in Jan but to leave in Feb and to Leicester is utter pish on his part.

Rather than signing Bain, Kt, Ajer , calmac, he can * well sign De Vries , Compper , Mulumbu etc... since hes lumbered then with us

 

Unless he wins us a treble treble, a champions league and the world cup all because he asked for an astro turf pitch to be laid and the lines brought in stopping the barcas etc playing

 

Any appointment within our reach is a downgrade.

 

Can see why * like Dembele and Boyata want out of the club when our own manager doesn't want to be here, crazy times. I did say he wouldn't be here next season due to all the loan signings but leaving 27 games in to manage a bang average mid table team in the premier league is madness. I'm hoping he's just signing a pre-contract with them for next season, but even then these things should be done behind closed doors which it currently isn't.

Thanks for the memories and that Brendan, but what a * of a move. To leave us in the lurch going for another treble and for tin pot team, who have no real hopes for the rest of the season, is * shocking. Especially from a supposed fan.

Hearing there’s been a big misunderstanding and Rodgers, Toure, Davies are only away down to Leceister to secure a deal for Benkovic.

 

I'm not gutted, I'm very disappointed and a bit annoyed. Timing is outrageously bad and a bit classless from Brendan. I dont want Lennon permanently, hes a loose cannon. I genuinely fear for who the board will appoint.
Should this play out as it now appears certain too, I fuly expect Leicester will bid for KT during the summer.
